How can you go into San Fransico and lay an egg like that? Then you let the idiot 49ers kick you while you're down. If I was playing I'd get the defense-since I'm a defensive type guy. Together and be calling out people. And telling the unit we gonna put pain on everyone the rest of the way until we play those M"fer's again. But Dallas has NO fiery type of player like that on this team. We need a Charles Haley and on offense Michael Irvin. Parson just runs his mouth anymore. Yea. At times he gets sacks but like a lion when the offensive line Buffalo's show up, he's running with his tail up! I'm so sick of this weak azz team turning tail when hit in the mouth. And it starts with ONE guy!! Jerry Dufus Jones! get rid of that Beverly Hills training camp! That's the first thing I'd sack. Texas heat all Summer long training camp. Days off? Is this the NBA???? I could see old players. But 24 or 25 year olds like Cee Dee We need a leader. Aikman and Irvin was the leaders on the team back in the glory days on offense. On defense we had Haley-Washington -Norton and others. This team has nobody willing to step up and be that guy. Then you have the coach McCarthy is no leader. That's why his team show up when they want to. How can you go into Arizona and get totally smacked around by a team with no wins?????? Don't mean to rant but this should be unacceptable. And yet I haven't heard that quote come from one player or coach. What we need is another Jimmy or Tuna in here. Give Mike Tomlin this type of so called talent and see what happens. McCarthy isn't fooling anyone especially his players. They know a fake when they see one. In closing.....we'll never be the hardnosed team we could be as long as Jones is around. Country club housing. Mother type protection. Don't let my babies get hurt.. And no consequences for bad play. This team is just a bunch of intitled. Spoiled rich kids. Prove me wrong Cowboys!

I think most of the NFLs good teams don't respect Dallas.
The bottom feeders probably do.

Our defense is the least of my worries.

Our defense had a heck of a game last playoffs and Dak still went into a shell..

Our offense has to apply pressure with points on the board for our defense to truly do what they do best.

I would ask the Defensive Leaders who can you get behind as quarterback this year. and just roll with that. otherwise this team is close to shutting it down. till next year

Since Jimmy left this team it's Jerry's Circus and we all know the false hopes and BS the circus offers.
Most of us are passionate Cowboy fans because we are older and lived a non-Bizzaro Cowboy era with a top-notch GM and Coach and Great QBs.
Like it or not we are the JOKE of the NFL and as much as it hurts us this will not change as long as a Jones is running things.

we weren't ready. we drank our own cool aid. they were prepared and had a game plan. we had nothing. we got shell shocked from the first series when they marched in and scored and we couldn't stop them. made slight adjustments and they countered as they knew and were ready for us. offensively, once again, with that OL, we got out physicalled. that defense took our offense to the shed and made the cowboys squeel.

Until Jerry and Stephen relinquish control of player and coaching personnel, we will see the same crap from the Cowboys. Dak is the present day Garrett. The Jones Boys think he is going to deliver them a Lombardi. Why? Because they are astute "football guys" (in their own minds) and they selected him. McCarthy and Quinn are that name recognition that stirs up interest in the Cowboys from an attention standpoint. Their football house is built from the top down instead of first and foremost constructing a solid foundation.

Jerry's first priority is where he ranks on the Fortune 500. Everything else is just gravy.

I agree they should go with Lance. I know some people will say he couldn't even get a 2nd stringer job etc. The guy hasn't played a ton of games, at best with Dak were going to be a wild card 1 game and done team. Might as well see what we have in Lance, he is young, cheap, and worst case scenario he is really not good we get a better draft pick. Or we can stick with Dak and get a worst draft pick and lose in the wild card game.
