Well hopefully, he can last the season OK.

With that being said, even without a #1 pick next year, we're pretty stacked with picks. Pt being that hopefully, we can steal another CB in either the 3rd or 4th round that can give us some depth in the nickel.

Alan Ball stinks-hopefully, a decent 4th round CB can replace him, and we won't have to worry about Jones anymore.

Kyle Wilson, Boise State. Scandrick's former running mate in college. He was considered the better CB than Scandrick (by BSU's staff) and will likely fall like Scandrick if he comes out next year after his JR year.
Watch him Friday night on ESPN vs Hawaii. He can cover, hit, and swagger.

Just the way Wade sounded lead me to believe Jones is gone for good.

Anyone think hes coming back?

Supposedly Jerry ok'd him to go to that party as well.

It looks like his football career is all but officially over.

Gone for good from who? Dallas or the league?

Considering Jerry is the only owner that would touch him with a 10 foot pole, it's pretty much one in the same.

Newman is recovering from a sports hernia, Henry is injury prone, we have 2 rookies behind them, and Alan Ball is behind them(while Olgelsby is in Balt).

Let's be real-even the Pacman haters will want him back after the Skins game.
He is not reliable. Say he is back, team practices with him and then he gets into a trouble again, now he leaves team hanging.

Nope, I wouldn't want him back.

Whatever the outcome is, I accept.

With that being said, as the season progresses, and if our pass D starts to get lit up w/o him in there, then we should ACCEPT that too, OK?

The Cowboys will not cut him. If they do, they don't get the pick back from Tennessee. They have withdrawn all support so now he has been left to get himself kicked out of the league. Hopefully someone will give him a bus ticket back to wherever he came from and he won't be in Dallas when he does whatever he's gonna do to land in prison.

I thought he was getting better week to week.

He hadn't played a lot of football to begin with and he took a year off in just his 3rd season.

We never saw the guy who was an amazing punt returner either.

But yes I felt he would eventually get it together on the field from everything I saw.

What can we do? Pacman put us in this situation.

If any team can take some hits at the Corner position it would be the Dallas Cowboys from a talent stand point.

We gave the idiot a chance. He may not get another.

Not a prob.

However, for shallow, low-level, selfish, half-wit individuals who would gladly trade a GAME for a law breaking, transcient with absolutely no morals, I see issues.

Nope-regardless of whether or not he stays this season, even a 1 game suspension means we get a 5th rounder from them. It's in one of the DMN blogs.

Slow your roll, I have morals, and I still believe the guy should able to play

Nope, not true. Some of us would rather see a team built around players with integrity, accountability and maturity rather than guys that need to have their butt wiped. If that means we are not as good in the secondary, then so be it...worth it to have quality guys that work hard day in and day out and dont screw up...those are the guys that end up playing harder and better in the games anyway.

Wade Phillips doesn't expect Adam 'Pacman' Jones to come back

Tim MacMahon E-mail News tips

As far as Wade Phillips is concerned, the Pacman era at Valley Ranch is a thing of the past.

Pacman has a chance to be reinstated after the Cowboys' trip to Washington next month. But Phillips isn't exactly leaving the light on for a player who brought a storm of controversy with him when he arrived and managed to go a grand total of six games before getting in trouble again.

"I can't count on him coming back or us bringing him back or any of those other things," Phillips said.

Pacman isn't a part of the team anymore, according to Phillips, who didn't seem really confident that the cornerback could convince Roger Goodell to allow him to play for the Cowboys again.

"He's gone," Phillips said. "That's what it looks like to me. I'm not saying what's going to happen in the future, because I don't know what's going to happen in the future or what is or isn't going to be done there. But I can't go there. I've got to go with the players I have."

UPDATE: It's not all bad news for Pacman. Georgia authorities won't try to revoke his probation as a result as his alcohol-fueled fight.
