Seriously, as much as I've been touting Barham since we drafted him, I try not to get too caught up in the hype. I did like what I saw Saturday, though. Let's see how it comes together.

OK. It's not supported by evidence at this time. Of course, Parker has had several players try out being the green dot, so if Downs ends up being the best choice, so be it.

It just has looked like in camp that he prefers that it be a linebacker.

I remember sometime in the offseason, well before TC since we’re technically still in the offseason, I played that we drafted our Darren Woodson in Downs and we now have our Leon Lett in Quinnen and we’re stout up the middle. Another poster stated we don’t have our Ken Norton Jr. I can’t remember the poster who posted that but I agreed with him. We didn’t have that angry butt kicking LBer.

Well after Saturday it looks as if we found our Ken Norton Jr in BamBam. And I am super excited.

He honestly should start him. Overshown is overrated. Id start Barham and trade Overshown. Shemar James has shown improvement and I think he would be fine as the primary backup. Start Barham and Winters with James as the primary backup and trade Overshown

I cant deny that Overshown's pre injury closing speed was a thing to watch.
I hope he's fully returned to that level again.

A year removed from a second devastating injury. I doubt he’s fully returned to pre injury level but even 75% of Overshown max potential is probabaly the best pure linebacker on our roster.

Barham was 251 at his pro day. The 240 was likely cutting water weight for the 40.

I think the ‘26 Media Guide has Barham @ 248.
