Sounds like Steele is on the hot seat

Or we can just leave hateful and/or myopic agendas behind and accept a QB with a top five performance is actually a top five QB.
Hareful? And what, accept the narrative you are pushing? He had a real good year last year. Circumstances and personnel contributed.

Rasheed Walker ex Packer signed with Carolina for 3.2 guaranteed $ would have looked good as the LT moving Guyton to the right side to compete with Steele for a small investment . Keep Hoffman forget Hennessy and drafting Shelton is a question mark at the moment .

I don’t see based on last year how you go into 26 with no real competition at RT .

This is certainly not much of an endorsement

It really doesn’t matter at the end of the day because aren’t really any good options that wouldn’t cost too much in either draft picks or cap room.

We also can’t do anything about him because we just have him another $30m.

When a guy has a top 5 performance but he's not a top 5 QB, I'm giving some credit to the guys around him.

And this sounds alot like Matthew Stafford. No playoff wins for his first 12 years in the league, no top 5 rankings in those 12 years, then he goes to a Rams team who were already built to win a Superbowl and then Stafford shines.

The year the Rams went to the Superbowl with Stafford, he led the league in interceptions.... interesting. So according to what you've perfectly stated, along with the evidence I've placed before you, all the credit has to go to all the guys around him in L.A., I assume.

To conclude, Dak has been top 10, every season he has completed healthy.

I'll leave you with this. ALL quarterbacks can only succeed because of the guys around him. Mahomes OR Brady have to credit the guys around them. So if that goes for the two greatest quarterbacks to have ever lived, then best believe that goes for every other quarterback who has ever played, currently playing, or will play in the future.

Quarterbacks don't win games, teams do.

Has Bass ever played OT? In my recollection he has only ever backed up interior OL
Yes in college. Just throwing spaghettis against the wall here, just thinking of how to get our best 5 OL people out there.

They did back in March.

He had 3 years for around 48 million left on his deal with almost no guaranteed money left. He was going to get cut at that price and nobody would sign him for that high.

They revised it to 3 years 33 million but made basically 2 of those years guaranteed as a result.

Front office had a similar situation for Tank Lawrence a few years back. Lawrence had 2 years 40 million but none of it guaranteed so they ended up revising it to 3 years 40 million but guaranteeing 2 of the years.
Thanks….

The fact that I’ve gotta look at him for another two years is disappointing. The fact that he has apparently decided that he is now all set and can mail it in is disturbing.
