Source: Adams' foul under review

roy williams injured repeated players and was warned.

Flo has no history of injuring anyone or of being warned.

He was hit for a fine for unnecessary roughness in the Tampa game, was fined for the trip of Tuck and fined again after the Peppers incident. He's been fined a total of $25,000 dollars this season.

He supposedly received a notice Oct. 3 from the NFL threatening suspension if behavioral issues continued.

If that doesn't constitute "being warned", what does?

great news.

cause we know cupcake, jag and jerry won't do anything about it. see TNEW disrespecting his own coach. :laugh2:

Yup.

The NFL should suspended him, unfortunately.

I certainly don't want to see him suspended but I will not be shocked if he is. I like Flo. He's been a great LT for us for a long time. He's winding down now, for sure, and it's time to get that guy in there who can step in and take his place for us but I certainly don't hate the guy or want to have to through another stretch without him, right now, like we did a few years ago.

That said, like him or not, the way he went after Tuck from behind is simply inexcusable. It's stupid. I know Tuck might have said something or whatever but you've got to be smarter than that if you're Flo. That single act could cost him a game against San Diego and then very well could cost the Cowboys a game against San Diego.

Hey DE you were saying?
From your thread? Like... this..?

He's going to be suspended for knocking one guy down by pushing him in the back and grabbing another player's helmet by the facemask during the ensuing scuffle  I have watched a lot of high school, college and professional football in my life. I have never seen a player ejected or suspended over a shove in the back or grabbing a guy by the facemask. This would be the first. Good luck with that.

"You saw it this morning"

What did ESPN say? Did the network influence your opinion nearly a full day later
DallasEast;3125621 said:
I do agree about the fine, but the referees responded correctly in my opinion.
DallasEast;3125627 said:
Thank goodness. ESPN gets accused of enough nonsense like this as is.
DallasEast;3125636 said:
Adams shoved Tuck. He didn't club him in the back with a stick.
DallasEast;3125652 said:
Irrelevant. Your question asked if he should be suspended. If every player was suspended for shoving or grabbing hold of a facemask during games, there would a helluva lot of backups starting each week.

My advice? Watch the action between players away from the camera's focus (e.g. running back, receiver or quarterback) sometimes. You'll see a lot of the same interaction between players which you're wanting Adams to be suspended over.
DallasEast;3125684 said:
That's not a farfetched idea. Both men hate each other. Tuck stated his general opinion of Adams during the postgame interview and it was subdued to say the least. It's the NFL. Players in every era have engaged in hate relationships for over 80 years. Adams and Tuck are no different.
DallasEast;3125691 said:
Exactly. The next step would be suspending players for using harsh language. Whoa. :)
DallasEast;3125701 said:
Have you drawn up a list of Adams' "dirty antics"? Maybe it'll be the same one that will be presented to Goodell this week? Can we see it?
DallasEast;3125740 said:
:laugh1: DaBoys4Life. You're something else. "What" we will never know. And he's checking it twice.
He's gonna find out if Flozell has been naughty or nice.
Roger Goodell is [strike]going to Hell[/strike] coming to town!!!
Trust me. I wouldn't change a single word.

Yeah, you do, every post you make is an explanation of why he should be suspended or arguing with someone that says he shoudn't be. So here you are tired of him and you are looking for any and every chance to rag him. The guy has been a stud for us and is still a pretty dang good LT and you want to rag him because you are tired of him....pathetic.

If you keep doing stupid **** then you'll eventually have to pay the consequences. No gets to skate by like their **** don't stink. Flo's been stinking up the joint.

Yeah, please let us know what the consequences are for writing stupid posts then.

I'm not too sure but i bet you could inform me.

Oh, I could, but I want to see if your consequences are the same as mine or if favoritism is shown.

Then how do you explain Romo still healthy after 12 NFL games?

You do know who LT's face every play every game don't you??

You must not like the guy, that's fine, but he is a solid LT in this league.

Romo healthy after 12 games? Didn't he get hurt against the raiders? Romo has definitely been banged up this season. he's also been sacked a lot also.

romo's feet & escapability have saved our coaching staff and OL's butt.

but ROTF romo isn't healthy! he needed shots to play after wash. you have a short memory!

nor is our "trick" offense healthy (passing game or rushing game) thanks to dimwits like Flo and the worst OC in football.

Did you not see the game he played yesterday?

I think he is pretty healthy.

No QB does not get hit or sacked.

That's true but Romo has been sacked more than normally. As for yesterdays game that wasn't a typical Romo performance. He throw a lot of underneath routes and didn't try for the deep ball at all.

Like remembering that he hurt his back tackling the guy that recovered Barbers fumble.

Until we find someone better, you better thank your stars to have FA at left tackle.

Na the penalties pretty much negate his positives.

our lack of PREPARATION (drafting or grooming a FA replacement who lives up to his hype and salary) surely does not mean i should "thank your stars".

Romo got knocked around silly yesterday, and much of the season. Add into the mix Jag's lack of running game (except lame draw play) and you have a recipe for failure late season... barring a miracle or the defense playing out of it's skull.
