They have done very well the last couple of years.

They have beat WVU, Louisville and now Auburn.

I also believe that we either currently have, or had at one time, a coach from that team as a member here.

I remember when they first joined the Big East the other guy and I were talking about what to expect from each others team.

Can not remember the guys name...getting old and memory is not as sharp as it used to be.

Hey Brain, I believe you're referring to me.

What a great win for the school! I really think this is the year we'll be ranked in the top 25. Grothe needs to remain healthy though.

Yes...sorry I could not remember your name. It was a year or two back when we were talking.

They really looked good and help bring some extra credit to the Big East.

Congrats on the great win!

The Big East is quality football and on the rise. Vastly underrated nationally.

It truely is underrated nationally. They keep going with the traditional power teams & power conferences, but times they are a changing.

My guess is it will take a national champion from the Big East before the mediots will take notice.

how's about them bulls?

wow...they are looking great.

I went (and will go again) to the University of Texas at Arlington. About 2-3 years ago, the student body lobbied hard for a return of the football program closed in 1986. We voted in funds, and called for a study on economic feasibility.

One of our platforms was the success of USF's football team, how the school is gaining national recognition for having a decade old program that is already competitive. I've been paying attention to the school for a few years.

(Alas - our president accepted our fee hike, but decided to improve our activities building instead).
