I think he can play any of the three LB positions. Now, which one is he best suited to, that's a different question IMO.

Why do people continue to think Mosely is a SLB????? did you even watch the combine? The guy dropped everything in pass drills. He can't cover TEs!!!!! He's strictly a MLB...and a skinny one @ that. Was really disappointed in Mosely today. He skipped out on numerous drills to not expose himself today. He's just another fraud Alabama LBer.

Floaty, who are these five olinemen in your signature photo looks like our starting center and LT then who? :):):D:):D

I am on board with drafting a fast, aggressive WLB like Shazier, or even Smith if Marinelli thinks he can do it, and moving Carter to SLB to compete with Holloman and Wilber.

Let the best guy win on the strongside, and let Lee and Shazier play in the middle and weakside.

Carter, IMO, would be just fine at SLB if he learns the position. He certainly would have the coverage part down. Personally, I don't think Carter has any toughness and would put my money on Holloman to win the spot. In that case let Carter back up Lee in the middle.

Shazier, Lee, and Holloman would be light years better than last year's unit.

Hello, ding ding ding. Darren Woodson measurables.

Might have about the same measurables....but Woodson had better DB skills. I question Smith's hands....He sure caught a lot of ball today by trapping them against his body. And he sure didn't look natural doing it.

You know Woodson was a linebacker right?

No way he plays middle LB with that body frame . Maybe in the future but not as a rookie . What makes you think carter is any good ? He had 4 decent games in 2012 . Other than that he has been a bust . Wilbur don't even get me started he doesn't even belong in the nfl .

Telvin Smith will play linebacker, and will do so well. The man is aggressive, quick to the ball, a sure tackler, a playmaker, and a great team leader.
If Vince Williams can do it, and Dixon Edwards did it....... So can Telvin........

DL in the first... LB in the second...

I don't blindly endorse every FSU player. But I believe Telvin will make a VERY good 4-3 Will for someone. He is instinctive around the LOS and tough to block. He's NOT a S. He can cover RBs and TEs very well. 15 tackles against Auburn's power running game.

Give me both Smith and Joyner and I think we go a long way to fixing a bad defense.

Not without adding talent up front.

Once we can phase out the Nick Haydens, George Selvies and, dare I say, Ben Basses on the roster we'll have a chance to be a good defense.

I already regret including Ben Bass.

Add that DL first, then add these two and I like our chances.

I think he is gonna end up @ SS....ala Darren Woodson. I love his game tape. But watching him today.....yes he blew up the 40- but his ball skills were just average...so I was kinda disappointed. I can't imagine starting a 218lb WLB.

Bingo. That is exactly what I was thinking when I saw this kid at the Sr Bowl. Forget about the drills we both saw the same thing with this kid. In a real game he is around the ball every play. Woody is one of my all time favorites so I may being seeing things out of hope but he was the guy I thought if too.

Draft him in the second round, and have Darren Woodson pick him up at the airport.

I like a lot of players that were on the FSU defense. Jernigan smith and Joyner and terrance brooks are all guys I would love to have on our roster. And maybe one of their RBs too.
