It’s probably not fair of me, but anything I see written by Mickey “Jones” Spagnola, I’m not interested. I’ve read, watched and listened to his brand of homerism, rudeness to fans and colleagues, and his absolute lack of journalistic integrity enough that I’m just not interested. Mickey is a flat out embarrassment to this city and organization. I gave him many years to show that he can change. I don’t think he can or will.

If you ever listen to Dallas’ best sports talk radio station “The Ticket”, those guys tell stories all the time about what a complete jerk “the Mick” is. He has burned multiple bridges with some of his journalistic colleagues for his on and off the air temper tantrums and rudeness. If anyone ever, I mean ever questions a decision made by the naked emperor who employs him, Mickey acts like a midget with a bee in his britches.

Sorry for the rant, lol. Not a fan of Mickey Jones.

Mickey is a fine writer, but I don’t get the appeal. If there’s a breaking story, he’ll be the last one to write about it because he works for the Cowboys. He’s their mouthpiece. I don’t need to be told what I am seeing.

I'll tell you why people hate him so much....because he has forever been the biggest Cowboys homer around these parts. He is a little weasel. And I've noticed forever, that the only time he will levy some harsh criticism is when he feels like the coast is clear...usually after Dallas has cut someone, or indicated displeasure with someone themselves first. Then, and only then, will he take a strong stance against any coach or player. He is the worst.
