Your info is false. He was investigated and then cleared. It’s not that the investigator didn’t believe her it’s that he didn’t have enough to charge him and make it stick.

If you actually listen to Watson's accusers, there definitely are some credibility problems with all or almost all of them.

I was ready to jump on the Watson-hate until I actually listened to the evidence myself. I have no doubt the guy is a dirtbag, but all the women I've heard about had choices to leave, and just didn't. Several came back after they were "assaulted." There wasn't any force. He threw his clout around. And he acted like a total pervert behind closed doors, but from what I see these allegations are about money. And Watsons' lawyer is going after Watson with inductive reasoning rather than deductive: he thinks the more accusations, the better. If even one of them was credible, you don't need 21 accusers. In fact, you wouldn't want any of them to taint your case for the one who has a good case. But I haven't seen a single one with a truly credible case against Watson.

And that's exactly why he wasn't charged.

To arrest him, all they need is probable cause. That truly means 50.00001% or higher that he's guilty of a crime. But law enforcement didn't even have probable cause.. or slightly better than a coin toss of a chance to pin charges on him.

So, I don't see why he should be suspended if he hasn't been charged unless he violated a conduct policy with the league, which I'm unfamiliar with. Still, I don't think the league should police players. They're obviously doing it for their image. Leave this up to the teams.

You really think it takes 4 months to investigate anything? Police say they're investigating for months, usually when it involves an officer, so they can placate the public. Or in cases like murder.

You honestly think it took 4 months for them to determine whether Joseph committed a crime?

If you honestly believe that, you may have your head in the sand. You probably also think it actually takes years to investigate officers for disciplinary actions too.

If anyone has their head in the sand it’s you because everything you’re saying is wrong! Murder investigations can take years. It can take a lot of time to determine if someone was linked to a murder. Murder charges have been handed down years after the crime took place, because you need evidence to get an indictment. You’re obviously not clued up on this subject.

That's why he walked, and the other two were arrested. I was trying to explain how that works, and many still don't seem to understand what it meant when Joseph was not placed under arrest.

Come on, Coach, Joseph dug his own grave. He was one of the ones caught on camera throwing punches at the same person who was shot in the back and killed in a drive-by later that evening. So Joseph was not one of the ones who pulled the trigger, but he sure wasn't planning on ratting out his friends neither. A whole month passes by until Joseph admitted he was the one caught on camera. Only then he came out and forcibly said anything. If not for the videos identifying him, he would still be quiet today. What if the deceased young man was a family member of yours? Would you feel differently? I already do, and that's because like you said, "I wasn't there," but I've seen my share of dead victims due to the hands of extremely irresponsible and careless people.

helping troubled youth through their transgressions is admirable no question, admonishing others for having an opinion based on the facts / circumstances isn’t. he’s clear, i hope he gets his life together and flourishes, but i am also sickened by his actions

What is the league suspending him for? Unlike the Zeke suspension there is no witness to say Joseph did anything wrong. More importantly Joseph has kept his head down since the incident unlike Zeke did.

Personal conduct, other’s have been suspended for less. but this is the court of the NFL, he was involved in the fight and in the vehicle, he knew what his homies were, it’s called guilt by association but that all the NFL needs.

Are you positive that you know which guy was Joseph in that video? Because one of the guys arrested claims to have started that fight.

Well, apparently you know more about the situation than I do.....I don't think charges would have been dropped if he was as guilty as you make him out to be...again, I don't know the facts, I just trust the Blue.
