Nah..the thread says "tune"....I read it the same way at first. :D

And Parcells was the guy who made the LT references..

I read it as Tuna the first time too. LOL

Ware does play similarly to LT.
It's not a production comparison but more of a method comparison. Body type, technique, ability... that kinda stuff.

It is just odd for BP to have said it because, like Juke said, he never talks like that about anyone. Especially a rookie.

But I bet the LT comparison becomes more true as the years go on. Ware is gonna be good. Real good.

I think he'll be fine...especially if he is used more creatively.

The LT thing was unfortunate because IMO, LT was the greatest defensive player to ever play the game.

LT had an energy level that bordered on psychotic. He simply took over games purely by his presence.

Once Ware learns his position and gets more comfortable, I think he'll do things with more abandon. Should be fun to watch...

Unless of course if, when Parcells leaves, the new coach wants to run a 4-3

Yeah LT had energy alright, sniff sniff.;)

Ware is going to be fine, once we add a little more to the new defense he will be a little more flavored. I think the new scheme held this D back a bit. Wait until they are confident with it.

Like CantonBound08 said, Jerry was talking about how great a work eithic Ware had to go along with his great physical abilities. He was giving him high praise with the Maryland comparison, it was not intended to be negative in any way.
