We've talked about this plenty on this board..it's 100% accurate. This team does not play complimentary football..11 guys on offense have to carry the other 30+ odd guys every single week..

Shannon Sharpe on Undisputed yesterday made a good point. It is very hard for the offense to drive down the field on every drive for 16 weeks. Defense and ST giving the offense short fields is a large responsibility that we haven’t lived up to. I like to blame the offense for a lot of shortcomings, but there is only so much you can do when you have to start out in your own 20 every freaking drive of every game.

Penalties that kill drives. Then I cringe everytime we punt. Teams are returning kickoffs against us also. They have a game plan to attack our weaknesses. I don’t think we do that. Our Defense gets us the ball and we do nothing.

We just don’t compliment each other. Offense and Defense don’t work together and ST is terrible. And there is no excuse for that. Fire the ST coach. Should have been done weeks ago. Get another kicker. Should have been done weeks ago.

But it’s the short fields and change of momentum “splash plays” that we aren’t getting that’s hurting.

So, the OP never says that the offense deserves zero blame.

There's enough blame to go all around for this team being 6-6. There have been games where the offense has performed very well and then the defense failed to come up with a stop when a stop was needed the most. We can say that the offense should have done more against the Saints and Patriots. While still maintaining the fact that this defense needs to try to come up with more turnovers. Everyone will point to what other QBs are doing in compared to what Dak isn't doing well. Yet, those teams also have games where their defense will come up with turnovers to give their QB good field position and that's something that our D can't do on a consistent enough basis.

The special teams return game isn't helping out either.

Can't really blame the offense when they are like top 5 in every single category. Except for redzone % which has really hurt this team. Every time we get in the red zone kellen moore goes all linehan.

Cowboys offense isnt top 5, the fact that we suck in the redzone proves this much. We're top 5 in the second half when good teams dont care that we're gaining yards anymore. Or when were beating on bad teams.
