Any one know what the average field position was for the Giants? It seemed like on kick returns and punt returns the Cowbiys weren't doing a good job of limiting yards.

we seemed to be starting from our 20 while they were at the 35 every possession

Has anyone mentioned that our ST coordinator presided over the 49ers STs last year and that bunch was among the worst in league history? I was hoping he could turn it around here but it appears that it was more than just a one year failure with him. Losing Turpin didn't help but the coverage teams were awful today. Guys not staying their lanes, missing tackles.. Even one guy offsides on a kickoff.. I mean damn...

Yikes, with this defense, we really need to win that phase of the game. Probably won't often from what I have seen

I really hate the new kickoff rules.

Yeah it really shortens the field a lot, haven't enjoyed the rule as much vs starting at the 20 or 25. Technically it should be an advantage for the Cowboys with Turpin but has come fruition yet, too many sloppy holds and blocks.

I know it hurts special teams when defensive backs get hurt but we had penalty after penalty today. We have to fix it quick. The Giants played with a pretty short field.

The initial kickoff return scared the special teams unit so the wait and read versus attack
