What's a cheap price? I'd say 5th or later.

Probably so... or a depth player for us at a position they might be short at (I don't know what that might be for them).

Most likely doesn't happen but for the right price I would do it. They might be already stinging from the Rolando McClain trade though.

hold up now....is this the same guy that was a 2nd round pick out of K-State last year....no way the Ravens who never ever ever miss on draft picks, would give up on a player after 1 year.

Earlier speculation before the cowboys name appeared was a late pick.

Does BAL need a WR by any chance? We brought two in for a look today, which didn't seem to make a lot of sense....

ESPN's Adam Caplan reports Ravens ILB Arthur Brown has been the subject of trade discussions.
Brown is buried on the Ravens' depth chart after losing his starting job to rookie C.J. Mosley. He played zero defensive snaps in Week 1, and doesn't contribute on special teams. Brown has tons of talent though, so it makes sense teams are interested. The linebacker-needy Cowboys could make sense as a landing spot.

Pure specualtion at this point but could make some sense.

Not really interested in making more trades unless there is an absolute need. Right now, I don't see one.

Now if Durant is out this week ... probably will see a starting group of Carter, McClain and Wilber, and I'm not sure that would bode well.

As far as I know since they were dumb enough to trade Boldin to SF (for a 6th!?!) thay have needed one. Long shot for us to give them one of our WR's IMO.

Not really. There are available WRs from camp to backfill for Still if we needed to add a body on the roster. I also think it's unlikely the issue with Dez was anything more than cramps.

The player I was wondering about actually was Harris. I think it's really unlikely we'd move him, but he's one guy who has a skill set we'd have to backfill from the street if we were looking to move him. He's a very traceable commodity, and he's at the tail-end of a contract where we might lose him for nothing in a short period of time. Pure rank speculation on my part, but just trying to make sense of the rumors and the look-see's we're taking.

I wouldn't be happy giving Harris for Brown... but that is a very good point about his contract.

Still, if they want to keep Harris, they likely will be able to without much issue.

Yeah. I'm completely spit-balling because I think Harris will be expensive, and I think he probably will want a bigger offensive role that we can't give him. We also have Beasley to consider.

And I wouldn't be happy with Harris for Brown straight-up, but it can always be bundled with a pick.

Anybody know if any of the three we brought in today had return experience on STs?

More likely to the Chiefs IMO.

I know that Tenn also lost a LB for the year this past Sunday (Brown from NC I think).

Still, I bet Baltimore would rather send him to the NFC will all things being equal.

Hell, it will probably be his damn brother. Don't know why I didn't think of that one first.

That would be really early to give up on a 2013 2nd round pick.

It's odd for a backup to not play special teams.

In regards to IlB vs OLB, he is an ILB because the Ravens are a 3-4. He was a 4-3 OLB in college.

Pretty sure he played MLB for K State... although I could be remembering wrong.

On a side note if it is true and it is the cowboys and not chiefs showing interest at least this team is not standing pat.
