Speaking with several team sources in Mobile, the feeling is that the Dallas Cowboys will draft a defensive lineman with their first-round pick. Minnesota DT Ra'Shede Hageman and Missouri DE Kony Ealy are two to keep in mind.

I know this is not best site

Well its pretty obvious we need d line and they are 2 of the better guys projected to go near our pick.....so yeah this is pretty much stating the obvious. I think it would be bigger news if we weren't interested in these 2.

I Agree

With a few exceptions, just take the best damn football player, period. Dallas does have a good recent history with 1st rounders, so whatever player they take will probably be fine.

If speculation were common sense, then yes, I agree with this speculation.

Don't rule out LB, but I can't imagine us going in any other direction.

Keep an eye on Kyle Van Noy.

I'd love the pick....but it would have to be in a trade down to add a 3rd

You know, I only clicked on this thread to add a smart *** comment, but you beat me to it. I tip my hat to you sir :p

Drafting a DL in the first falls under the water is wet category.

I could see us grabbing FS Pryor if Hageman and Ealy are not there

there's plenty of D line available in the 2

Dallas would be stupid to not get a DL in either the 1st or 2nd.

I don't like what I've seen out of Early, so far. Maybe I just watched the wrong clips

It is a bad ideal for Dallas to limit themselves to a DL or else type if approach. It would be a stupid move to draft a DL with second round talent and pass in a first round talent at another position.

My sources tell me the Cowboys will have a lot of interest in defensive players this offseason.

That's about as much as I can give out now.

Oh I agree and Kouandjio, Lewan and Martin will all likely be there at 17, grading out higher than a defensive need position. That would be three cornerstones to a dominant O Line for a decade. SF turned the corner when they invested in the O Line.

This DL at all cost attitude is a quick way to draft a bust.?i want the best player available like you do. I have serious about the talent that be available when the Cowboys pick. I don't want to draft a small DL to fit a coaches scheme that may not even be in Dallas next year.
