Speculative options = crap thrown against the wall.

Moss will not be traded and will probably never be a Cowboys player in any form or fashion. It is time to change the calendar from 1998.

I've wanted Randy Moss here in many different situations.

If we traded for him in 2007, we win the super bowl though. If we drafted him in what 98? We win the super bowl a few times.

Randy Moss has won exactly ZERO Super Bowls. He has never helped take ANY team over the hump. What makes you think we would have won a few Super Bowls here when he never did it anywhere else?

Moss playing for us would not work out. Romo doesn't have a strong enough arm to get Moss the ball down field like Randall Cunningham and Tom Brady do.

Tell that to T.O.;)

And Miles Austin. Who is faster then T-blow and Moss at this point.

Common sense would say "no."

But with jerra around, well, he never could pass up marquee-name players past their primes. Just ax Brooking, who by the way, was never a marquee-name player but was signed as head cheerleader.

Don’t Get Caught Up In Moss Headlines
Posted by nickeatman at 2/25/2010 10:41 AM CST on truebluefanclub.com

If you follow this Cowboys team religiously, you’ll probably will or already have seen some headlines that link the Cowboys as the possible next home for Randy Moss.

Basically, that’s all it is – a headline. ESPN is up to its tricks again, putting out a headline that says “Randy Moss to Cowboys trade talk?” Ok, sounds enticing enough, and I admit, I took the bait. You have to, right?

But get into the little story, that doesn’t have any byline to it, it’s just a speculative deal that reiterates Moss’ desire to leave New England. And the report lists a handful of teams – Bengals, Cowboys, Giants, Ravens and Vikings who “COULD” be interested. Yet, it’s the Cowboys that get the headline.

There’s no quotes, no source this time. Just linking the Cowboys to a high-profile player every time one becomes available, or talks about becoming available.

Now, this is coming from the same person on The Lunch Break yesterday that even said the Cowboys should get Randy Moss, but it was definitely said as a farfetched joke that probably won’t be reality. I certainly wouldn’t make it a headline.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not failing to recognize that we’re talking about Jerry Jones in an uncapped year and a player that can draw a buzz like Randy Moss. In certain ways, it makes sense. But for now, it seems very premature to speculate, especially in a headline.

Most of Austin's long catches are actually bubble screens or 10-15 yard slants that Austin scored touchdowns on his athletic ability. watch the game vs KC Chiefs again. He scored his Tds on short to medium routes and ran the rest of the way. Romo can only throw for 50 yards tops. Brady,Cunningham,McNabb,Manning can throw 60-70 yards on a bad day.

1 passing highlight is all you could find (prolly took u all day too):laugh2: . I like Romo as much as the next guy but his arm does not compare to McNabb's Cunninghams, Brady's, P. Manning's, Rivers', Carson Palmer's, Joe Flacco's. If he had an cannon/elite arm he would have been drafted.

Please tell me you're trolling for trolling's sake. Romo threw that ball 50+ yards without even stepping into the throw.

Where's your inane chuckling emoticon for BoneCrusher#31? He said the same thing before I did. He was the John Wycliffe to this Reformation of a debate. Where was your emoticon for him? I guess you missed his response when you were naming quarterbacks who allegedly can throw farther than Romo. And, you know, I guess I would have to use emoticons too if I didn't know what I was talking about.

It didn't take me all day to find that highlight; it only took me 2 minutes. I wish I had all day to go through Romo's highlights (I've recorded EVERY game since the 2006 NFC Wild Card game), but I don't have a day to waste pwning some Cowboys fan who tries to show how impartial he is by falsely claiming Romo can't do a certain thing.

I love this here: "If he had an cannon/elite arm he would have been drafted." Then why was Tom Brady taken in the 6th round? Answer me that. He was two rounds away from being "undrafted," which really doesn't mean anything in today's NFL because they've whittled the draft down to 7 rounds. I guess Roger Staubach, who was taken in the tenth round in the '64 draft, would have been undrafted and a schlub in your eyes if he were playing in today's NFL.

Take a walk. Give 'im some chips and we'll see him later on in the casino.

I'd love Moss here, hello outstanding number 2 receiver. On the other side of the coin, if we roll out the same pathetic pass protection, doesn't matter what receiver we bring in.

I know people want to say, we've done this before in TO, when in reality, TO was only a problem for 1 year, the other years he put up and shut up. We do have a history of taking on hard headed cases, but we also have a history of cutting ties when it non longer works.

Moss loves the Dallas Cowboys and would probably like to play here. He might even take less money to do so.
