Speculation: Per Adam Schein of Sirius radio, Colombo could sign w/Jets

Why? Is it humerous to him that he sucks so bad?

Signing Davis is not only NOT an addition, but it's actually a DOWNGRADE.

no because there is irony that the guy he was cut because of essentially is leaving us, and leaving us in a bind.

Sorry you couldnt get that on your own.

and yes I know he was actually cut because of mcquistan. Petitti was the starter though and lost his job to columbo and then his roster spot to mcquistan and fabini.

ok i got a confirmation they didnt sign him lol

Jordan Black gave up 13 sacks last year in 15 GS and the year before he gave up 8 sacks in 10 GS..

WE will need 3 backup QBs if we bring this guy in

Black is awful and shouldn't even be in the conversation. If McQ isn't ready, I'd rather see Fabini at RT before Black. Damn!! Can't believe I'm saying that about Fabini but that's just how bad Black is... We gotta leave Davis at RG for sure..

Everyone back from the ledge...well most of you. Some I wouldn't mind sneeking up from behind and helping you with that jump! :laugh2:

after reading the jets message board.. it seems like adam schein is just speculating that hes going to sign with the jets.. but after reading how excited the jets fans were about potentialy signing Colombo it made me realize how badly we need to re-sign him.

I saw him play sparingly. The one thing I always felt was that protecting a quarterback like trent green is as tough as protecting bledsoe. guys are in full all out attack.

I am not saying I want him to come in and play, but he is good insurance.

Personally I am pulling for and have been pulling for mcquistan and procter to find there way on the field this year.

Insurance for what. He can't play man, he's terrible.. Seeing our QB's get hammered isn't insurance.. Have you seen the sack numbers he has given up.. That isn't insurance my friend...

There are only two sure thing tackles in this draft... Joe Thomas and Levi Brown... and they will both be long gone by pick 22. Maybe we will need to spend a 1st or 2nd on a guard.

Is it a sure thing that Rivera is done?

Chris Villarrial is available. He would be a short-term fix at best. Same type deal for Mike Gandy.

I've always liked Toniu Fonoti. He has been on 3 teams in 5 years but he is only 25 and he is huge (6'4", 350 lbs)

He was DONE last year!!!

Once again, if Colombo signs somewhere else, there's no reason to panic.

The Cowboys could sign him to any contract they wanted ... If they really wanted him and needed him back as a starter.

If the Cowboys allow him to sign elsewhere instead of giving him a higher offer, then we didn't really lose him like in the days when we had to make cap cuts...we would be allowing him to leave because we don't feel we HAVE to have him.

Let's just relax and let the coaches and scouts do their jobs...I believe we're going to have a much better OL this year, with or without Colombo.

Yes, there's no reason to come to this board and post about anything regarding the cowboys whatsoever. The coaches and scouts ALWAYS know better then anyone else so everything will be just fine.

The reason I'm in panic mode is cuz not only is losing Colombo bad, but it also means Davis is our RT... and that makes it extremely bad. We NEED to resign Colombo cuz we NEED to keep Davis at RG.
