SPECULATION: WR Charles Rogers days may be numbered in Detriot

Charles Rogers missed both of Tuesday's practices with a sore knee.

When asked about the situation, the former No. 2 overall pick declared himself "injury-free." This may be one of the last updates on Rogers' status while he's on Detroit's roster.

according to Peter King. He says that he thinks the Lions will cut Rogers and in fact he's pretty sure it's going to happen. Of course, this is Peter King we're talking about.

He doesn't suck. He's got great hands and body control. Unfortunately, that's not enough.

not that he is on the field much to watch, but when he is on the field he doesnt do jack...the guy just isnt any good...he is a wastoid off the field and on...doesnt work hard and is always hurt...

I will just never understand why people want to waste time and roster spots on losers like this guy

a 6'3 220 wr with solid speed. he wasn't a cant miss guy thats for sure, but he definitely has boatloads of potential. no telling what would happen, but it wouldnt be the first time achange of scenery helped a player. I think its worth a shot, especially considering we could either trade a guy like shanle for him or wait until he's cut and get him for nothing.

3rd...behind 2 undrafted wr...how was Roy williams (wr) available and we not take him? or did you forget he's their number 1 wr, and their 2nd and 3rd wr's were free agents and multi year pros?

Well if past actions mean anything.. usually when you hear a guy is sitting and he says he has no injury, then the tem is shopping him and doesn't want to get him hurt during that time.
