Don Woods a QB at New Mexico switched to RB as a rookie, put up over a 1000 yards.

The guy is a running but not a guy I would depend on to lead a passing attack.

We've seen this so many times before. Fans get mesmerized by the "highlites" and completely overlook the passing inconsistencies. An NFL QB's job is to run the offense efficiently. 95% of the time that means he needs to get the ball out of his hands. If he can't do that consistently, the team will never reach their potential.

Michael Vick was a poster child for this. On days where he passed well, they could play with anyone. Other days, he would badly miss wide open passes all game flushing their chances away.

I agree. I was one of Murray's critics at first.

I thought people were underrating Murray when he came out but I did understand the concerns about his size. I have watched a number of his games & yes he has had growing pain moments but he has also done dazzling things. If you didn't watch him against Tennessee, go check it out. He was magical.

Key being, he wants to pass first and he is a very accurate passer. Add unreal athleticism & you have a guy who truly gives his team an advantage.

I was just ignorant. I just thought he as just another running QB and tiny to boot. But you're absolutely right. But he's a pretty damn good passer too. I was totally wrong about him and hope he continues to have success.

All Olympic sprinters, all would totally dust Jackson at any distance all sucked as WR's, only Graddy having a career, the others were gone and quickly.
