Speedy should have already been cut, probably day 1. The guy is not physical, doesn't hustle, and complains too much.

I am beginning to agree with some of the others, not a damn one of these guys has shown me they belong in the NFL. Jones is the only one I would even consider until I saw he has no heart, no hustle, and isn't in NFL football shape.

Agreed. Gonzalez should have been the first or second cut, easily. The Beast gets too much love from Mike too. The guy is clueless and lazy, Matchbox (great nick) and Holley are clearly better.

Yea it was PI on just about every play. But hey it’s “man ball!” so Irvin says. Montrell is a big guy, maybe the most upside. Hawkins is fast, i like him too. And i like the little Gamble kid, has lots of confidence for some reason, lol.

Hawkins does seem to have this sewn up.

My guess is that they are trying to edit this to make it seem like things are close so the show has suspense. But even trying to make it look even fails; Hawkins repeatedly shines. And they can't hide that.

So Hawkins will go as the 80th man on the roster. He will be gunning for a slot reciever spot. That's actually a rather weak position on this team. Roy, Miles, Hurd, and Stanback are clearly wideouts and don't fit in the slot. Crayton plays well in the slot.

I don't know about Travis Wilson, Julian Hawkins, Kevin Ogletree, and Manny Johnson. I need to see what they have. All I've heard is that Ogletree is looking good, but it is still incredibly early.

But if little Hawkins could provide some value on special teams, I think this team could use a legit slot speeder.

Right now, I think Stanback is gone. Too injury prone.

Roy, Miles, Patrick, Sam are on the team. That leaves one or two spots.

If anything, maybe lil Hawkins ends up on the PS and learns how to be a punt returner or something. He's got the speed, the wiggle, and the instincts. And he looks like he has hands too. I'd like to see him at least make the PS.

well you put him on the ps, then he really can be signed by any nfl team hence the premise of the show would be a little wierd. I dont know, maybe its just me

I really enjoy the show to be honest.

If I had read this before I had watched it last night I would have been disappointed.

Hawkins is clearly the best of what's left not only on the field but he's 22.

Don't know about his return skills, but he actually has a chance at playing on a team whereas no one else on the show does.

Hawkins and Holley are by far the best players on the show.
Hawkins is more of the type of WR we need (return man, quick and small), but Holley is a good possession receiver. Holley could have been drafted pretty high had he decided to continue in football instead of basketball.

i love the show also. One on One 5 plays to decide if you get a chance in the nfl. Even if the chance is remote, it's there.

The cowboys have shown you dont have to be drafted high, or drafted at all to make a big impact.

I think these guys are going to have a long way to go to actually make the team, but I feel many dismiss them as having no shot.

He kinda asked for it. Pass inteference has been happening since the beginning of the show and, yet, he was the one who suggested that they take it to the field to decide who goes home. I admire his moxy, but I think, in the end, it was an act of desperation, as if he knew that Irvin was leaning towards letting him walk. Besides, I think we all knew he wouldn't be the last one standing. So far, Holley and Hawkins are the stars of the show. Speedy clearly belongs in arena football.

I think it's kinda interesting that Jones is listed at 205 and Holley at 216 on Barry Horn's list of players. Jones seems so much bigger.

We're seeing a classic ploy by reality shows. If you'll notice, Holley hasn't gotten much time in the show, especially on the field. They're specifically editing for that reason.

When Holley beats Hawkins, it'll seem like he came out of nowhere, but he's been the most consistently good player out there. And he has NFL size.

Did you see Irvin's reaction when he ran Moten over?

By the way, how heart-wrenching is that clip from the next show with Moten on his last legs, and talking to his son to get through it. You can tell some of these guys are putting all they have into it.

Last night's show was by far the best show of the season. Whoever doesnt watch it because they thought it sucked should check it out and give it another chance. At the begining, yes, it had one too many players who had no chance at making it but now its getting to the point where we have a few decent players. I think its a two horse race between Holley and Hawk. I think Speedy being elimnated had alot more to do with his attitude. I think he came off as arrogant to the coaches.

5'7" or 5'3", I don't care... I'd take Hawkins over ANY of our receivers besides Roy Williams and maybe Crayton.

Dude can play, period.
