We missed out on the top guys as expected. Now to the next tier. I think Spencer might be the best de left out there. Of course Hardy is the biggest name but no one is sure how that's going to turn out.

Anyone left you guys would like to get in here to help our defense?

There one goes...non-believing as a way to success.

Cmon on CC. They should have found a replacement by now. This I ridiculous to still be relying on him after all these years.

Sorry, Rolando McClain hasn't been signed as well...and such is still a necessary part of responsible cap management. The lesson on high priced drains upon a roster needing to elevate Tony Romo for his remaining years isn't lost on me.

I think we sign him to a 2 year contract. when Spencer is healthy he is above average And doesn't have off field issues.

Maybe he signs after they work out a deal with Ro. I would not be opposed to this. But still go after a DE in the draft. But we all know that already.

Cowboys veteran defensive end Anthony Spencer has a free agent visit set up with another team Monday, according to a source, and is in contract negotiations with multiple teams.

I f we want him and I do, got to hope he brings his best offer back.

Spencer has always been above average strong side DE who did what the DC asked him to do.
He has been valued by the coaching staff but not by fans.... which one too listen to.

I can't believe it's 2015 and we're still talking about Anthony Spencer on the Cowboys.

Me too. I've been lucky the past few years in having guys off the team that I wanted off the team. IE...Ratliff, Miles Austin, Ware, and a few others. And Spencer is another guy I would prefer to not see again.

They are going to build the defensive line the same way they built the offensive line. We don't have the money to go after the big fish and we've brought in the small fish for the last few years. I'm okay with that.

The only reason not to be okay with that is if you felt like we were so close to being Superbowl winners last season, that one guy was the difference.

Is george selvie a free agent?

We probably need to bring back spence.
