I've loved Spiderman since I was a small kid and was him for many a Halloween.

Since he looked like this...

I used to love that cartoon. Watched it religiously. I even had the action figure with the rubber head and inexplicably removable cloth costume.

Good times.

Very interesting. So now they're just going to totally reboot the whole thing. Oh brother.

I am happy ..... now it can be put in the same "world" as the other Marvel movies.

Hopefully they reboot the X-men and Wolverine soon.

agreed but after the success of Orgins: Wolverine it will be hard to replace hugh as Wolvy

Just promise me there won't be another Brandon Routh "Superman" sequel.

Thats actually getting redone as well, I'll try and find you the link but its supposedly a 3 movie set from when his home planet gets destroyed tell hes the last "human" alive on Earth

Great news.

Hopefully this means we can get a decent Venom on-screen as he was a complete disgrace and abomination in part 3.

And who says Spiderman isn't dark? One word: Carnage.

Spiderman was never dark. Probably one of the more light comics around.

Oh, okay. I guess a complete murdering, raping, psychopath that killed his own grandmother, pushed a girl in front of a moving bus and burned down an orphanage isn't dark?

Yeah, that sounds super light-hearted and fun to me.

The one trend I cant stand is giving a superhero a long-lost son. They did it with Superman, The Six Million Dollar Man, Knight Rider, Indiana Jones, etc. Enough already.

I would say that Indiana Jones is a little different than the others in that George Lucas was pondering on continuing the franchise with Shia Lebeouf's character as the main hero after Harrison Ford hangs it up. He was even pondering doing so as soon as the next installment, but that will not end up being the case.

Every comic book i've seen turned into a movie has been absolute garbage.

I loved the Wolverine movie the Xmen I hated quite a few things but then I used to read the Xmen back in the day like making Iceman a kid when he was one of the orginial5 xmen. The 1st five where Angel, Beast Cyclops, Iceman and Jean Grey which of course they lator became X factor that title eventually went away.

that movie sucked!

We will agree to disagree. I liked it. But you can't sit here and say that Jackman doesn't play a good wolverine. They need to quit using those stupid "claws" that they have jackman hold onto when he has them "out"

Wrong...

Batman Begins Terrible
The Dark Knight Fantastic
Superman 1 & 2 1 was very good, 2 was very decent. 3 and 4.. not so much
Sin City Don't really consider Graphic Novels to be the same things as Comic Books.. But good movie anyways.
Iron Man Fantastic Movie
Hellboy 1 Slow.. Boring. Disliked both Hellboys.
Blade 1 & 2 Decently average, nothing amazing about them.
X-Men 1 & 2 1 was decently average, 2 was amazing, 3 made baby jesus cry.
V for Vendetta Meh. decent movie, pretty average.
Spiderman 1 & 2 1 was fantastic, 2 was average to good.. 3 made me throw up in my mouth a lot.
The Incredible Hulk (sequel...reboot one)The Hulk reboot was very decent, much better than the first one which just lacked plot.

Daredevil was Average to bad
Electra was Bad..
Xmen Origins was average hollywood action/effects movie.
Fantastic 4 1 and 2 were very disappointing. I'd say 1 was average, 2 was average to bad.
