I don't know why I let them anger me so much. I really hope we prove a lot of the doubters wrong this year.

First in discussing AZ as a pretender or contender, Bob Leigh absolutely shrugs and dismisses Dallas as ANY type of threat in the nfc whatsoever stating that he likes Philly and maybe NY. The manner in which he did it would suggest that we're a 7-9 team at best. Are we not capable of getting hot like AZ?

Then the cherry on top. Lupica must really really REALLY hate Jerry Jones, our stadium and Dallas... his entire parting shot was dedicated to the "scoreboard" and ripping into Jones for being stubborn and "bonehead moves" like keeping Wade as HC and the RW deal. He also stated that the punter for the Titans is his favorite player of the pre-season for hitting the scoreboard first.

Why all the hate? Although they pissed me off a bit and we definitely have a lot to prove as a team, I just don't understand all the venom from these guys. Not necessarily a rant or a whine session. I just can't wait to get the season started and most importantly play well down the stretch. With health, Wade now calling the D, a more balanced offense and with good team chemistry, I see no reason why we can't make noise down the stretch as much as any other team in the conference.

Watched it for about 2 minutes then found something else to do. Once they were naming teams in the NFC that could win it all and they all agreed on Philadelphia then broke out into a orgasmic laugh when one guy mentioned Dallas I had to turn away.

Who cares what those dudes on that show think? Are they ever even remotely right about half of what they say? They're idiots who like to act like idiots for the sake of thinking they're witty and intelligent.

Let them talk.

I know it's like damn... you would think they mentioned Detroit as a contender they way they dismissed us.. good lord. Bottom line we must play well in December.. :banghead:

I saw that garbage. It really angered me that he just had to take a shot at the RW trade.

Those East Coast terds need a good down south pimp slap.

:laugh1:

I caught part of The Huddle yesterday while riding my bike, and Clayton and Coleman were going on about how dangerous the Jerrytron decision was. I bet they both mentioned "player safety" 10 times each as a reason the league was making a huge mistake on this. I kept thinking, is Jerry asking them to play on an ice rink? Does he have hidden banana peels out there? They were acting like an occasional do-over would have players regularly headed to the hospital. You'd think that offsetting penalties leading to a replay of the down had never happened before.

Really weird.

I freaking love the fact that we are the underdog going into this year. You can't sneak up on anyone if they expect you coming. This is the first time in a long time that nobody believes in us, I love it.

The first time in two years, maybe. :laugh1:

The scoreboard is a non-issue. If you want to hit it, you can. But if you want to get yardage during a punt, you won't. Simple really.

As for the "Sports Reporters", did any of them actually play a sport? And cricket or badmitten doesn't count.

And I like the fact that we are underdogs. Last two years everyone has been on our jock, then we lose. Maybe this year, we will be underdogs and win it all.

Want some? Come get some!!

Good point... I love this new angle and our attitude and chemistry this year. Just pissed that the "scoreboard" gives espn a new angle to focus on now. It's like they were pissed at our lack of drama this summer.

Some sick freak once said...."embrace the hatred."

Good advice.

It seems to be a good omen. All these media folks were crowning us the last few years early, so maybe good Karma touches us late this year?

Was this on ESPN? I haven't watched that channel in 4 months.

Can someone tell what the big deal is about the Eagles and Giants this year? The way I see it is the Vick situation is going to be a problem and distraction for the Eagles all year especially if McNabb doesn't start off the season with a good start.

As for the Giants, did people not see how they struggled without Plax at WR. There WR's are less than impressive and they are counting on rookies and unproven players at that position. I think losing Ward at RB is a big loss that no one is talking about and I don't see Jacobs playing all 16 games.

Again I am not saying we are going to steamroll through the division but I don't get this automatic love for the Giants and Eagles and haven't since people started getting on their bandwagons a few months ago.

I haven't seen to many episodes of that show but when I do it reminds me of a male version of the gab gab talk show "the view".

A bunch of cackling hens... in this case, cackling hyenas.

When the media engages in conversation about the Cowboys and labels the videoboard as a 'scoreboard', I'll take the rest of what I'm hearing or reading with a grain of salt. If someone is willing to voice something that insulting, they're also liable to be just as insulting about anything else.

One may as well equate a Bentley Brooklands with a Hyundai Accent. It's completely false and utterly foolish. The only other logical conclusion is that anyone intentionally describing the videoboard as a scoreboard is that they are just flat out stupid. The Sports Reporters may not say things which viewers might not agree with, but they ain't stupid either, so...
