Lupica...good grief. Does one look up 'geek' and find Lupica, or is it the other way around?

Remembering way back when Irvin was accused of being involved in that episode with Erik Williams. Lupica spent the one show just ripping into Irvin...on how he should not be in the league.

Fast forward to the following week...after it was proven the allegations were false...anxiously awaiting Lupica's retraction, he simply said:

"Well...he should still be out of the league."

I agree with what they said about the Cardinals. They are a good-but-not-great team that got hot at the right time, but not likely to be a contender again this year.

For reasons I cannot explain, the Eagles seem to be a the trendy pick this year in the NFC. But I think the Eagles are on the same level as the Cardinals... a good-but-not-great team that happened to get hot at the right time last year, which carried them into the NFCCG. But I think the Vick distraction is going to create a QB controversy that will blow up in their faces.

Even though I don't like Wade, I think they are absolute morons for dismissing the Cowboys the way they did. I think the Falcons are going to be very dangerous, but I really see the NFC as being wide open.

Watched it for about 2 minutes then found something else to do. Once they were naming teams in the NFC that could win it all and they all agreed on Philadelphia then broke out into a orgasmic laugh when one guy mentioned Dallas I had to turn away.

I honestly believe Philly is going to flame out when the McNabb/Vick thing starts heating up. There is going to be some issues and I wouldn't want to be Joe Blow offensive lineman having to keep answering questions about McNabb and Vick at week 12. It gets old fast...I see their season being about the soap opera as the season goes rather than about football.

Sound like a familiar scenario? The media circus big top is about to plant the big stakes in that city soon.
