Spotrac: Pending/Potential available WRs

My goodness.........this should drive their prices/value down. This is one time you would want Stephen Jones to wait until the 2nd wave to go after one of these players.

Great year to find a #2 WR in free agency! It's not a strong top tier rookie WR class either so unless another than McMillan I wouldn't touch a receiver early.

Of this, the only guys likely to have an cap average under 10m a year are Allen, Cooks, Kirk, Robinson and maybe Lockett. Possibly Kupp.

Slayton is projected for 16m a year. Still want him?
Seems like a lot for Slayton, if that was his value I can't imagine making a push for him. Lot of guys on that list that are a bit older, but atleast have a proven track record that still have something left.

There are a few guys that fit the mold but not that many. It is likely to be a guy on the downside of his career if we go after a free agent.

PFF has him at $20M per year....probably out of budget for the Cowboys?
People just throw out names randomly without considering the cost. If we truly are moving back towards a run oriented offense, the likelihood is we are not spending big money on a receiver.

Who would you target though? I'm just not seeing a ton of realistic fits.

Diggs? Possibly but there seems to be some chatter that he has a larger market than anticipated coming off injury.
Kupp? I'd be all over it in a Deebo Samuel type of trade if LA is willing to eat just a little bit of that money.
Kirk? This might actually be my favorite option of the bunch.
Cooper would be an easy transition ........still productive ( just not sure if Jerry will sign off )

Diggs is likely looking at a 1-year prove-it deal. No team is trusting him with much-guaranteed money. Besides, this could be the only chance he and his brother will have to play together coz this is likely Trevon's final season as a Cowboy.

Kupp......Rams will release him, it's just a matter of when. He reminds me of Coop and Diggs in that he knows how to get open. Pure route runner ........remember Daks always talks about his WRs being where they are supposed to be.

Excellent point.....it's also why I have my doubts that they will use 12 on a WR.

Yea, no way the Eagles would value having good wide receivers.

Don't see Diggs returning (post June cut?) so doubt his brother would want to come. And I wouldn't want another injury prove it type wr again especially with what his price tag would be. Maybe if a year had passed, but not fresh from last year w/that ACL.

I would be on board for Kupp at a decent price and if he already has been cut. Definitely wouldn't trade for him w/his current contract terms

Wouldn’t Tyreek Hill fit the receiver who can add speed to the offense that everyone has been crowing about?
Yes! But he's a certified head case and did I mention he wants a restructure to be the highest paid WRs? Not to mention, I don't think Dak has the arm strength for Cheeta's speed (lol)

Lots of over the hill guys and/or divas. There’s a reason most of them are available.

I don’t know Chris Godwins price but he interests me.
Left ankle dislocation for Godwin... and his previous injuries would make me want the FO to pass on him. His price will be expensive too.

Agreed... he barely had it for Cooks who had a long reception of like 39 over two seasons compared to the rest of his career.

Darius Slayton 39 catches for 573 yards 2 TD
Tyler Lockett 49 catches for 600 yards 2 TD
Jalen Tolbert 49 catches for 610 yards 7 TD (with 3 different QBs)
