Very sorry to hear this, been reading your posts for a long time. I know how it feels to be helpless as I've had spinal cord surgery of late and you can feel hopeless. Just don't let darkness overtake you, which is easier said than done. I need to work on that myself.

My ex-wife had leukemia at 21, she went through chemo and went into full remission. There is hope, you just have to fight. I will pray for your full recovery for you and your family.

I think you're right from a general idea that teams are starting to revert back to a run game, but I think you might be going to an extreme on that take too. I'd be interested in looking into the data on 3wr sets in 2024 compared to previous seasons. I think teams are largely using similar personnel groups but that is strictly a guess on my end.

James Connor getting $8M is eh...Even Barkly breaking $20M isnt completely insane. Zeke signed for $15M six years ago. adjusting for cap inflation RB contracts are still under what they were in the late 2010s.

Many teams are trying to move WRs but these same teams are going to be in the market to replace the guys they are moving as well. LA wants to move Kupp but its mostly because Nacua is the top guy now and they dont want to pay nearly $30m in cap for a #2 guy. Similar situation in Jacksonville where Thomas has overtaken Kirk. Metcalf is the one requesting a trade from Seattle. Hill requested out of Miami. In addition to this we also see teams like Cincinnati who is trying to keep both Higgins and Chase. I think there is more of a demand for WRs than you realize....even if there is a heavier focus on running the football around the league, which I dont disagree with.

I hate that this is a copycat league, now everyone wants to be the Eagles. Let them be them, they do that better than anyone else. We don't have the personnel to copy them, we don't have Barkley and Dak certainly can't run the ball.

I'm also tired of us giving into the cheapness of the Joneses. We can't do this or that cause of the money, when its not our money to spend anyway. We haven't done jack in years other than pay our own freaking players and draft like every other team does. Make a splash, get DK and have 2 #1 WRs. We have noone else on offense other than Lamb and our D sucks.

Do something about it, anything, other than lining the pockets of the Joneses. They need pressure to actually win ballgames.

Oh, so we got their GM and OL and RB too? And what was the best D in the league? Dallas is not spending 15-20m a year average on another WR. Not happening. We could draft one early but not a top dollar free agent.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I've heard of Myeloma, but don't know much about it. I do have a lot of friends that have suffered various types of cancer, including my wife.
