Risers

Nick Boyle TE Delaware.......Call me crazy....Jason Witten 2.0
Justin Hardy WR E.Carolina.......this years T.Y. Hilton?
Jeremy Langford RB Michigan St.....Incredibly smooth
Carl Davis DT Iowa........Better get off than I thought
Laken Tomlinson OG Duke......Reminds me of Larry Walford of Detroit
Donovan Smith LT Penn St......Shades of Flozell Adams
Jamison Crowder WR/KR Duke......Got some quickes
Hauoli Kikaha OLB/DE Washington.....Don't see him a 4-3 DE...purely 3-4 OLB. But does get to QB
Vince Mayle Washington St.......raw, but intriguing
David Cobb RB Minnesota.......more burst to his game than I thought
Jamil Douglas RG Arizona St.....Looks like a player that can convert to playing inside
Marcus Hardison DE/DT ASU....Caught my eye
Eric Rowe FS/CB Utah......An interesting tweener w/ athlectic ability

Fallers

TJ Clemmings T Pittsburgh.....Smaller than expected. Not a power RT in the NFL
Danny Shelton NT Washington...Run out of gas 3/4 of the practice. 2 down player
Nate Orchard OLB/DE Utah....Got enguffed by O-linemen
Ty Montgomery WR Stanford.....Looks the part..Where is the fire? Could be so much more
Quinten Rollins CB Miami (Ohio)....All this hype for this?
Za'Darius Smith DE Kentucky....Might be unfair to put him here...but see him as strictly a 4-3 strong DE
Rob Havenstein OT Wisconsin
....Plays too high

I've always liked Cobb's play. He's productive and smart, just not overly fast. I previously said we should look at him in the 5th. I'm interested to see where he ends up.

I had him in the 5th in my mock......I'm thinking he's making money today. Early 4th....late 3rd???? I see him a Ravens uniform.

I liked Boyle before the draft as a complete TE, but mainly as a blocker and short/mid target guy. Then he shows up with 35.5" arms and 10.7" hands. Physical specimen.

Comparing him to a ten time Pro Bowler and future Hall of Famer. What a brilliant evaluation.

Cobb just seems hard to bring down. It is hard to say where he will go. I could see no running backs going in the first and then they just start dropping like flies. I could see him in the 3rd round if he runs around a 4.5 and shows quickness at combine.

I'm thinking/hoping 4. He won't blaze the track and this RB class is loaded.

- When Sammie Coates takes a vertical release off the ball, he is running the deep 9 (go) route. Coates can get up to top speed quickly, and he understands how to attack press coverage.

- After the first day, I would say that Colorado State’s Garrett Grayson throws the best ball of all of the quarterbacks down in Mobile.

- Ole Miss safety Cody Prewitt displayed the range and ball skills to make plays from the middle of the field on Monday. And he will go attack the ball in the vertical passing game.

- Washington’s Danny Shelton is enormous on the interior of the defensive line. At 6’1.5", 343 pounds, Shelton should be at the top of the list for 3-4 teams looking for a nose. Very strong at the point of attack.

- Norfolk State outside linebacker Lynden Trail (6’6”, 262 lbs) is a player to keep an eye on. He has a raw skill set, but I like the athletic ability on the edge.

- The South squad practice had much more tempo and energy under Gus Bradley. I love watching this guy coach. He is active and never stops teaching.

Is this your list or did you get his from somewhere. I found this.

  • Utah defensive end Nate Orchard started the week well with a number of good rushes in the one-on-ones. Orchard was challenging the tackles with speed to get upfield and strength to shed blocks. In the team scrimmage, he had a nice pressure of Mannion to flush him out of the pocket.
  • Michigan State safety Kurtis Drummond flashed some man coverage skills with an impressive rep against Delaware tight end Danny Boyle. Drummond stayed close and broke on the ball well to get a good break-up.

Every year at the Senior Bowl, there are linebackers who get exposed a bit when they have to play in space as an underneath zone defender or when matching up in man-coverage. On Monday, that was Kikahawhen he was asked to play off the ball in Cover 3.

Kikaha is better suited as a stand-up edge-rusher at the next level in a 3-4 front, where he can use his hands at the point of attack and play close to the line of scrimmage.

Short arms too-measured 31 inches. Dont see him being a Cowboy.

  • Markus Golden completely abused Thompson on one pass rushing one-on-one, using a strong rip move to shed the block and burst by Williams to get a clear win. Golden burned Williams for a sack
  • Golden had other impressive rushes as well, and he abused TCU tackle Tayo Fabuluje on a few reps. Even though he isn't the biggest edge rusher, Golden has strong hands to shed blocks with the speed to beat blockers.

Hilarious......Golden did that even with his short arms?

yep but also go owned in the running game when he couldnt get off blocks. But look who he went up against. Two bug slow OTs. When he went up against Sambrailo, came back to pancake Golden on a run block.

As they said about Lawrence as well.

Golden is from a hard-working edge defender with an impressive motor, but I don't know if that is going to be good enough for him to carve out a role as a pass rusher at the next level. Golden looked a bit mechanical in his pass-rush attempts and doesn't have the explosive pop to overwhelm blockers with bull-rush maneuvers. While I like his effort and believe he could carve out a niche in the NFL if he hones his skills as a special-teams standout, Golden will need to put more tools in his toolbox to be a quality rusher as a pro.
