I understand your point about certain changes may not work but we are talking about Jerry keeping coaches that cant adjust for years.

Atleast give us coaching that can bring more to the table and see how that goes instead of staying with what you know isnt working.

Jerry isnt even giving it a chance in hell.

Jerry has hired and fired coaches quickly even to the point of regretting it when he fired Gailey as HC. No doubt Garrett has been given ample time and I do think time is running out quickly. I don't think Jerry gave up a 1st rd pick for a #1 WR or fired Alexander with the mindset this is the built in excuse for Garrett. I think these moves were made to save the season and it will fall on Garrett one way or the other.

Regardless of your opinion on the man...

I don't have any doubts that he means well, and wants to do well. He hasn't been able to climb the mountain top in quite some time.

He may be ineffective as a GM, but he certainly wants what's best for the Cowboys.

Not willing to debate the firing issue when neither man can even agree on if Jimmy was fired or quit. lol Jimmy says he quit and Jerry said he fired him. I said when it happened and feel the same today, both were in the wrong. 2 big egos
But if you or I were Jerry we would have done our best to keep him not help him leave.

You can see every bone in her neck and her collarbone. Her lack of flesh makes her look as old as her father.

I don’t doubt she works out. Many anorexics do. To the point of excess.

Wanna see what a healthy woman looks like? Check out the cheerleaders in Short’s thread.
Take another look at them in 30 years.

I'm not saying she's stunning, but she's not emaciated.

It's pretty much what I would have expected. The man has his faults as a football guy, but as a father and a person, if you hate him, it's because you're trying to.

I have no interest in Jerry as a father and a person. He is a fan playing GM with the team I have been a rabid fan of since before Jerry was trying to buy the Chargers.

Jimmy probably made Jerry WANT to fire him. Whatever the case, I remember talk about Jimmy having an exit plan in place years before he left.

Easy way to fix that, Jerry.

Stop being stubborn and trying to sell the fans and media on this concept that after 8 seasons, Jason Garrett is still learning on the job and that the long "investment" he has put in Garrett will pay off.

History shows that it rarely pays off.

Yes but I also think Jimmy who spent no more than 5 years anywhere was planning on staying. I remember when it 1st happened when Jimmy was asked about the new expansion team Jacksonville and if he would be interested in going back to Florida, Jimmy would not say no he said I would never say never. Jerry response was Jimmy was under contract and not going anywhere. Few months later the Owners meeting took place, in which Jimmy disrespected Jerry in front of others which led to Jerry telling Jimmy 500 other coaches could have won with that team. I'm not justifying the actions of either men but I think most owners would not tolerate any disrespect from those they hire and I think Jimmy was smart enough to know this and know the reaction from Jerry. I think anyone who thinks Jimmy would have stayed for several more years are wrong, I think Jimmy and how he goes about coaching would have burned out quickly.

Jimmy didn't have Jerry tell him that he could get 200 coaches that could win with this team. Jerry is to blame. He should have done whatever it took to keep Jimmy.

That doesn't matter if he wanted to leave. Jerry gave him an out. He should have bent over backwards to keep your back to back SB winning head coach in the building.

I agree, he should have tried harder, but I don't know if it would have done any good.

That is your view, I don't think men like Jerry who have had great success and wealth have the personality to as you say bend over backwards. That is not just Jerry I don't think any of the owners have that type of personality if they did they would never have gotten as far in life as they have.

Crocodile tears for the Highland Park Hillbillies. What a joke. The guy is so busy seeking the spotlight how could he be “hurting” from criticism and he is an incompetent, that usually draws criticism.

Don’t like criticism? Stay the hell out of the media and inviting it. The old awesome person is getting just what he deserves.
