There has to be some sort of credit for a guy who has us in contention to win the division with one of the worst defenses in NFL history. This is coming from a guy who isn't a big Garrett fan. He doesn't learn from his mistakes, and for a guy with an Ivy league education, he should have all of the scenarios memorized at this point.
I equate it to being a decent poker player. You don't have to be a math genius to be a good hold em player, because the pure math percentages have already been calculated. Once you have a decent rote knowledge of percentages in certain situations, you can make informed decisions. Garrett still is lost in the moment. After being raised in this game, you would think he would be an expert in these situations.
With that said, he seems to be a decent motivator.
