Funny how the media keeps on bringing this up over and over, because he is with Dallas for the most part.
If he signs with another teams this off season, next year will be...he learned and is a better person now.....

Funny also how we aren't continually reminded of the murderer that was with the Patriots, and how the knew of his past concerns, but yet coddled him. Until they had to release him.

Hardy tweets something, and it's all over the news. But yet no reminders of a murderer.

Props to Hardy and his very generous charity, keep it up. And hope you are back in Dallas long term.

He is on the roster. If he wasn't it would go away. Had Kraft kept Hernandez then believe me the NE media would not just let it go. That market is not all that different than the Dallas one.

I can think of one huge difference - winning and lots of it . . .

You are not familiar with the Boston media. Most of the Globe and all the Herald writers don't care when it's dirty laundry. DMN and FWST have a similar dynamic.

No, I dont follow the Boston media. Not much in NE I have any interest in. But the ones from there you see nationally tend to be pretty supportive of all things Patriots.

Is Aaron Hernandez still playing for the Patriots?
Wasn't he convicted of murder?

Why would the media keep mentioning Hernandez when he is no longer on the Patriots roster, and he has been convicted of the crime of murder?

Where are all the juvenile jokes in this thread. Oh well... I guess it's too SERIOUS.

He may be back for the simple reason that he may not want to go to another city and have to start all over rebuilding his image again. Most teams fans will be against signing him.

I think he signs back on another 1 year deal to continue to build his value for a huge deal. Nobody is going to sign him long term after the off the field drama this season coupled with his replaceable sack total.

I wish I believed that but Hardy is working hard behind scenes with his agent to rehab his public image so that he can maximize his next contract. Now if he steps up and gives Dallas a reasonable offer my opinion will change but I think Hardy goes to highest bidder.

Well sure the Patriots have Belichek and Brady who are the best at their respective positions for their generation. The national media are frontrunners.

If Kraft had not cut Hernandez immediately none of that would have gotten him a pass.

So u think the only reason Hernandez was cut was becasue of the media there?

Nope. I just laid out the circumstances had he not as I am making a comparison between the markets. You've read me enough to know that I wouldn't claim to speak for Kraft's motives without addressing it in particular and qualifying it heavily.
