Didn't know the SB was guaranteed, but what would be the reason to pay him what they are and let him go for Keenum? Keenum hasn't really done anything in the league and is 28 years old. First round tender is 3.6m, which they would be able to regain all of if they cut him I believe. Foles, is a year younger, had a phenomenal year in 2013, went 6-2 as a starter in 2014 and is more along the lines of what the NFL looks for in QB's. Not sure why Keenum would be considered the better prospect. Keenum is on a one year deal, and the likelihood is that the Rams aren't going to resign him when they have a number one draft pick as their starter. Foles is paid for this year already, will be cut next year with big cap savings and the Rams supposedly like Mannion, the guy they used a 3rd rounder on last year and will be cheap and the likely backup next year. If either were waived, I doubt Dallas would put in a waiver claim for either due to their contracts.
