I'm excited by what this DL could become by midseason. Irving, Tank, Maliek, and Paea could be a very formidable starting unit with nice depth behind them.
There are a lot of questions on the DL but also an equal amount of possible answers.
Youth and upside are abundant.
Stephen Paea, at age 29, is the oldest player on the entire line, with Tyrone Crawford next at age 27.
But Paea has a balky knee that has been problematic since OTAs in the off-season. He missed all three days of practice this week but is expected to play tomorrow night.
How bad was Cedric Thornton playing to make the team dump him?
I hope they are right on his replacement, Brian Price. He needs to be ready.
