I'm looking forward to Dunbar being back especially. The man was like a specialty weapon. He has great speed. He'll never be an every down back, but the team was able to burn defenses by using Dunbar in unusual ways.

It would be nice to get both players back, but they won't be getting big money from the Jones'.

Id rather just keep using Lucky, and maybe expand his opportunities.

Dunbar may be explosive, but it doesn't matter how explosive you are when you're continuously injured.

I would not break the bank for either....................not saying I don't want them back, just saying it would have to be a modest deal with lots of incentives.

Not so sure about that. Dunbar could hop on board the same gravy train others have ridden in the past, gets a decent $1.5-2M deal each year for mediocre results. It is a nice comfortable existence and nobody really holds you accountable. Like the RB version of Procter or Ogletree.

Both will be back, the offense took a dive when Dunbar got hurt in addition to missing Dez/Tony. Crawford flashed enough that he should be brought back as a role player on the line.

Dunbar will be back, and will get hurt again. Depending on him to be a focal point of the offense all year was a huge misstep by JG and Linehan.

Jack C is pretty underrated as a utility DL.

Dunbar is a nice weapon on an offense that lacks speed. Itd just be nice if he could stay healthy. I also don't know if he's going to be the same guy after this latest ACL. If he didn't command more than vet min I'd move on.

Both will be back, imo.

Its like last years situations with guys like Bruce Carter and Dwayne Harris. I want them back. But at a good price. And I see no reason to believe why they won't be at a good price.

Never understood that really. It was almost like Linehan was thinking he could be the Reggie Bush he had in Detroit or Mewelde Moore in Minnesota.

I'd give Dunbar a lttle more because he has shown that when healthy and used right he can be pretty explosive.

"Hope to be back" is the new "I might be back if they offer me good money". Just shut up, it's in your own hands you dummy. Don't ask for more than you deserve and you'll be fine. If you're greedy get the **** out.

Dunbar got 1.5m this year and got hurt- he is too specialized for any more
Crawford is a vet min type- take it and stay or get replaced by a draft pick
RMcClain is head case that should get no more than 2m with a few games played incentives
Hanna can go but that means we have to draft another TE- another vet min type
Hayden just needs to go no matter what we save on the cap by keeping him- definition of settling

Yeah! Hear that NFL players, don't try to get as much money as you can before you leave the league, because a forum whiner said so!

And most of these players get advice from their agent, which they should.

Agreed, a free agents value is determined by the market there's no such thing as being too greedy.

I have mixed feeling about Dunbar. If we think Lee is made of glass, Dunbar is like a crystal..... beautiful yet more fragile. When was the last time he played without getting hurt? He and Whitehead maybe some redundancy there and may fight for 1 roster spot depending on our needs.
That being said I am pretty sure staff will want Dunbar back because they got a glimpse of how he really should be used.
