I'd give Dunbar a lttle more because he has shown that when healthy and used right he can be pretty explosive.

Good point..........I just hope he hasn't lost any speed or explosiveness from his ACL.

He totally killed the Giants in the season opener catching passes out of the backfield, that was my favorite game of the year.:)

In 4 games, Dunbar had 215 yards receiving. He was obviously going to be a huge part of our offense before going down.

In my opinion, he's a must sign.

Yeah! Hear that NFL players, don't try to get as much money as you can before you leave the league, because a forum whiner said so!

And most of these players get advice from their agent, which they should.
Are you dense or something? What the **** are you even talking about how players want to make as much money as possible, what does that have to do with anything? Don't say you hope to be back when it's totally up to you. The only reason you won't be back is because you ask for more money than you're worth or that the Cowboys think you're worth. In which case get the **** out. If you hope to be back you take whatever the Cowboys are offering you, which is probably close to the vet minimum. Which is about what you're worth. Don't say I hope to be back and then you're gonna ask the Cowboys to offer you double the amount they think you're worth.

Not so sure about that. Dunbar could hop on board the same gravy train others have ridden in the past, gets a decent $1.5-2M deal each year for mediocre results. It is a nice comfortable existence and nobody really holds you accountable. Like the RB version of Procter or Ogletree.

I wouldn't even call them mediocre. I would not be supposed if they made him a substantial offer.

Jack C is pretty underrated as a utility DL.

Dunbar is a nice weapon on an offense that lacks speed. Itd just be nice if he could stay healthy. I also don't know if he's going to be the same guy after this latest ACL. If he didn't command more than vet min I'd move on.

Both will be back, imo.

Huge disappointment. Name one impact play the guy made?...He's not even a JAG. Watch some tape. There were a number of times he got abused.

And the thing that strikes me about him is....he's making all of these moves w/ his arms and legs and looks like he is really trying.....but he isn't going anywhere....isn't doing anything.

He's a free agent...and we can do better.;)

I think Dunbar will be brought back. They finally had him starting to show some promise for their offense this year before he got hurt. So I imagine they'll bring him back.

What does it have to do with anything? A player doesn't have to give some discount to the team he's been with. Market dictates what he'll get, if his agent says he should ask for MORE than just minimum, he should do it. And it's funny that you believe the Cowboys management know all, kinda like with Dwayne Harris and his "worth".

And Dunbar said he hopes to be back. HOPES is the key word there. Which means he hopes negotiations go well along with the Cowboys wanting him to be back. Stop whining.
