So if defenses are playing Beas differently why won’t we adjust by expanding his route tree so we can exploit their vulnerabilities?
What is this "adjust" word that you speak of?

He has a small catch radius. That is a problem on intermediate and deep routes but not on the short stuff that he normally runs.
Clapping in a different frequency.
Just get Dak out of the pocket give the kid 5 Seconds to throw the ball and he'll have targets all over the place .
Nobody loves Whitten more than I do but it's time to start rotating him in
Red has to have the nutskis to do that.
Start rotating Dez while we're at it
And for crying out loud put Switzer in the other slot and give him a shot pretty obvious if he makes somebody miss he'll be gone, but no not Scott the offensive Einstein.
That was us talking. Linehan made it pretty clear in preseason that wasnt a package we were going to see a lot of. Not at the expense of Witten.
He's gone from slow to really slow?Witten being really slow now
It was that play where they removed his helmet and he kept running, they took his speed that day too (apparently)He's gone from slow to really slow?
I need to watch some games from his first 2-3 years because I never remember JWit being a speed guy.
NFL QBs don't have 5 seconds to throw. I'm definitely not an apologist for this coaching staff, but that's just not feasible.Just get Dak out of the pocket give the kid 5 Seconds to throw the ball and he'll have targets all over the place .

I am hoping this is Witten’s last season with us, at least as a starter. With Witten struggling to beat single coverage it is really easy to bracket Beasley.
To bad, Cole, that your coaches have no clue as to what teams are doing against you.Cole Beasley considers it a sign of respect. But the bottom line numbers still don’t make digesting it any easier. One year after leading the Dallas Cowboys with 75 catches … Click to Continue »

Let's try for 2.5 seconds, bloke.Just get Dak out of the pocket give the kid 5 Seconds to throw the ball and he'll have targets all over the place .

In a sane world, you would have new patterns with help from the outside (Dez and TWill) but those two also are being swallowed up by suffocating defense.
And ours coaches seem to cling to the same-old.
Could we call Belichick for assistance?
Conspiracies aside, it just seems that way, ruffian. It's like the opponent gets to play with 13 guys.
Do you just come to every thread and find a way to throw a punch at Dez? I mean I know this is a WR thread but come on. lolTeams figured out Dez is not a threat anymore and instead of doubling him, they double Beasley.
The combination of Witten being really slow now and Dez with his decline is too much. Witten would be OK if the #1 WR put stress on defenses.
Actually all of the receivers are limited. They need a legit Alpha Dog #1 WR and everyone else would get better because the coverage would focus on that player.
Maybe they should rethink it given the offenses struggles at times?
Nah. That would involve our HC and OC adjusting to find something that works.
