3 options
run a play - allowing the most time to run of the clock. basically playing for a field goal. easily the least aggressive move and IMO willingly going to overtime vs Rodgers is dumb.
call a timeout. stop the clock, but burn your last time out. you may get as many shots in the endzone with this one, but only if you are not stopped in bounds it could be game over. limits play calling - not the best option for a young qb IMO. for a vet like Tony, this is the right call
spike the ball. This is giving away a down to save a timeout. It gives you an extra 12 seconds - or about 3 more tries to get in the endzone. but only if you can get a first on two downs instead of three, making it an aggressive move with upside. that we were already in Baileys range made this one a good decision.
