ST: New fullback says Cowboys can do everything with DeMarco Murray that Bears do with Matt Forte

YPT.. and having just as many TD's with a considerable lesser amount of touches.

Forte averages 0.8 more yards a catch and Murray averages 0.4 more yards per carry.. Forte has more production and manages to stay on the field.. Doesn't mean Demarco sucks but he isn't as good as forte as of today.

Yes, so if you do the math, you see that, as i said, Murray averages more yards per touch than Forte.

Does that make Murray better than him? Lance Dunbar probably averages more YPC that both of them.

Yes, it does, imo.

Lance Dunbar has 30 carries total on the season.. do you think comparing him to the other two backs makes any sense at all?

No but the point is YPC is not the end all be all of what makes one guy better than the next.. Forte has been a more productive player and a more consistent player and has been able to stay on the field while Murray has not. I think Murray is a well above average back and is underappreciated by many around here but I don't happen to think he is better than Matt Forte. We can agree to disagree
