Anybody get sick of Jerry stating Dmac is the starter when they haven't even had a practice? Man that act is so stale!

It's not so much the time table that troubles as it is who is saying it.

Welcome to why the Cowboys don't win anymore.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Morris doesn't strike me as a guy who will do well in a limited role. I think if you want him to be productive you have to give him the bulk of the carries.

Exactly.

That was a "complaint" if you can say that in an interview he had on Sirius.

Don't get me wrong, he was very professional and humble about it.

But he did say that he felt he could not get into the role last year in Washington.

Nothing overly negative, but he made it sound like he felt the workload split affected him.

That's why the stupid running back by committee idea needs to be scrapped.

It's like the two TE set, or 13 personnel group they wanted years ago, that never panned out.

They like the idea of both, but in the end they always go back to feeding Witt and one main RB. JG is lousy.

Yet we signed him for the same limited role here. Backing up Darren McFadden, for crying out loud. You can't make this stuff up.

I couldn't agree more. I loathe RB by committee. I'd have Morris starting if it were me. With the bulk of the carries. Unless there's a back drafted.

We are awful at it as we have these scripted plays down as well. It's so damn obvious. It's almost like Preseason. Randle will get this many carries, and the bring in Dmac for a series, and then Dunbar! Rather than ride the hot freaking hand! I could actually see them having Morris rush for like 90 in the first 8 carries and then pulling him out because Dmac gets carries 9-19!

JG's like, "its the gameplan Linny, make the switch".

Running back by committee is like having two backup QB's that are real good but not great. Meaning you don't have a good RB!
