ST Shakeup - ACTIVATE Price!

Very True - all he is is a ST body. A position Davis, Pile will assume in a heart beat.

Price is a quality rotation WR. Complements what we have - and he has caught near 100 passes in a season from Bledsoe.

But we need "Copper" on ST. A unit that by the way - SUCKED last week. Lets not challenge that!

We beat a team on the road that was a playoff team last year. We did fine without price. Our ST's suck.....lets do what we can to shore up the ST. If that means leaving price inactive for a few more weeks til week can get better on ST.....so be it.

We won without price.

Who's saying Copper is better than Price? I think Copper position is more vital to the team right now than Price's would be. #4 WRs hardly make an impact. Our special teams unit is hurting right now......our WRs are fine without Price for the time being.

You know I really hope Price turns out to be a great signing. I don't know how anyone can call him a stud though. A stud WR would be your #1 or #2. A guy who consistently surpasses 1000 yards and scores double digit TDs.

One decent year. Never had double digit TDs. Never had 1000 yards after his one good season.

IMO, if he was a stud, we would be discussing him pressing Key, Glenn and Crayton for PT. Instead, we are trying to decide if he can pry a game time roster spot away from an UDFA STer.

As far as the active 45, I wouldn't be surprised to see Price AND Copper active.

The coaching staff feels like Copper is the best option on ST. That doesn't mean he is "un-talented" at all.

Back off what that Eric Molds was the reason he had 95 catches and what did he do for the Falcons played like a solid #2 at best

I never even mentioned copper see there you go putting words I never said or implying I said anything of the like. I never said Copper was a stud or even mentioned him.

So you still have not proved Price is a stud one good season next to a real wr does not make you a stud. It makes him a good 2nd wr that is all he has ever been. If he was such a stud they would have traded him for at least a low round pick.

So now that you tried to belittle me by saying I stated something I never said; I still do not see why Price has to be on the field we have 3 wr starting that are better than Price in this offense. Yes I am saying Crayton is a better wr than Price and putting Price on the field for the sake of his name and his 95 catch season 3 years ago is stupid.

Now on your statement is Price a better WR than Copper sure is; is Copper a better special teams player than Price sure is. Did the passing game worh great last week sure did and what part of the team struggled badly the special teams.

Price is buried deep on the bench and is nothing more than insurance getting him in the game for 4-5 freakin pass plays is not going to worry any defense we play and Price does not take this wr core from good to great it only makes them deep and still good. Now if we lose a player like Key Glenn or crayton to injury next week he shoul be in the game the following week. I get that but this he has to play now this week because his name is Price is garbage. He has not earned his playing time yet and he is still the 4th best wr on this squad.

My guess is Price figured he could leapfrog Crayton when he signed I bet you anything that was his thnking oh I can beat out this Crayton guy any day on my name a lone. Then Crayton goes out and puts up 6-89 1td proving he belongs on the field.

Well the reports out of the Atl said he scoffed at run blocking and getting chewed out about his lack of effort on it.

That could be media spin or what ever; do you think Price is willing to do what it takes to play special teams at this point in his career after putting up some numbers and stuff ? That should be the question

Bill doesnt look at that stuff.

Plus, we had plenty of cap room, there was no reason not to sign him, the cap money would of gone to waste.

Price was a good insurance pickup. He is still learning the offense. BP said this week who would we not suit up to play him, he has a good point.

Price MAY move up the charts, but now he is a #4 reciever on this team.

How many 4 reciever sets did we use last week ?

How many punts on KO's did we have to cover last week.

5 KO's and about 5 punts, just to guess. 10 ST plays for Copper.

1 maybe 2 4 reciever sets ? Maybe ?

That is what BP is thinking. 1 player (Copper) for 10 plays. Another player "Price" for 1 or 2 plays.

Price will get his time, just not sure if it will be this week.

I think Price plays this week...the Skins blitz alot and have two starting CB's that dont have alot of speed...Price (along with Glenn) are the two best deep threats on the team

the Skins D is solid, Price gives the offense an opportunity for an easy cheap score here and there...
