ST Shakeup - ACTIVATE Price!

I like the idea of rotating WR's.

Get all 4 on the field. Wear the CB's out.

Price will play - BP will figure out who covers ST jobs. We have penty of options.

Price was a good insurance pickup. He is still learning the offense. BP said this week who would we not suit up to play him, he has a good point.

Price MAY move up the charts, but now he is a #4 reciever on this team.

How many 4 reciever sets did we use last week ?

How many punts on KO's did we have to cover last week.

5 KO's and about 5 punts, just to guess. 10 ST plays for Copper.

1 maybe 2 4 reciever sets ? Maybe ?

That is what BP is thinking. 1 player (Copper) for 10 plays. Another player "Price" for 1 or 2 plays.

Price will get his time, just not sure if it will be this week.

We rotate Fergi, Ellis and Glover. Rotate Center - rotating Als and Fujita.

Wr's will do the same. We didn't sign Price to watch Copper cover punts. We have Davis and Pile that can do that and better.

Ya know Nors, you might just be right. It might come down to game plan too.

If we have a passing game plan then Price probably would be active, the rotation of WR's I guess would make as much sense as the rotation of the D-line. You don't see it much, but then again our 1-4 recievers now all have good credibility.

If BP wants a run based game plan, pound JJ, Anderson, and whoever is 3rd RB today. Keeping the score low and playing a field position game (Heavy on ST's play) which would make Copper more necessary.

But, just to check myself here. Who says the final spot will be between Copper and Price ? They both may be active !

Guess we'll know more in 36 hours or so.

I don't think Copper is eligible for the PS
played in too many games already, even as a ST ace.
And the games he played in last year at WR he was not terrible, he did catch a few key passes late in the year. Maybe not game winners, but they kept late game drives alive for a few series. Give him some time to develop as a WR.
I am not saying keep him active and sit Price, even deavtivate and get Price on the field, YES, but don't cut him for a ST player. BP will figure it out, and it is a nice problem to have.
