My stack:
Javon Kinlaw
Henry Riggs
AJ Epenesa
Grant Delpit
Xavier McKinney

Fulton and Henderson are not inconsideration at #17, or even in the 1st round. :p

So are you a fan of Henderson or no? lol

Ok, ok, after crapping all over Henderson I do owe him a fair look at his plus sides.

I think he has some serious potential as a man to man corner. Dude is fast as hell, and when he breaks on a throw, it reminds me more of a viper than a football player.

6'1" 205, a 40 probably in the 4.3s, and the explosiveness to just erase open windows in man coverage if the throw's not perfect. I think that 3rd gif was ruled touchdown by Miami, but the WR got it by only inches. Henderson has legit shutdown CB talent.

But it's impossible to watch him just explode on the WR on one play and then slowly jog towards the RB on the next play, and not think that he's either softer than a roll of toilet paper or making some serious business decisions.

Javon Kinlaw DT South Carolina
Henry Ruggs WR Alabama
Xavier McKinney S Alabama
Grant Delpit S LSU
CJ Henderson CB Florida
Kristian Fulton CB LSU
AJ Epenesa DE Iowa

I think we may be surprised by who drops into our laps at 17 but a lot depends on the combine. I like McKinney way better than Delpit. Alabama players tend to be better football players even though LSU players are better athletes. I hope they don't wind up picking either of these CBs in the first. If Kinlaw and Ruggs are off the board at 17 and all that's left is the rest of these players listed, then I would try to trade down and get another pick in the 3rd round. Taking McKinney early in the 2nd would be better value, especially if we get a high 3rd and something else to go with him.

I don't like Epenesa in the 1st at 17. I have a bad feeling he will be just okay and never make a real impact. I am not sure he will even contribute in his rookie year.
I’m with you on epenesa
I think he’s a decent player but not first rnd talent
I like rugg but can’t see how we take a WR in first rnd
The class is deep and good talent though not as fast can be gotten later

Just throwing out an exercise to see where everyone stands on possible first round prospects that could be in play at 17 to the cowboys.
Stack the following prospects from favorite to least favorite:
AJ Epenesa DE Iowa
Javon Kinlaw DT South Carolina
Henry Riggs WR Alabama
Grant Delpit S LSU
Xavier McKinney S Alabama
Kristian Fulton CB LSU
CJ Henderson CB Florida

My stack would go as the following:
Javon Kinlaw
AJ Epenesa
Henry Riggs
Grant Delpit
CJ Henderson
Xavier McKinney
Kristian Fulton

Kinlaw
(big gap)
Henderson
Epenesa
Ruggs
McKinney
Delpit
Fulton

That’s why I have him a little higher. The coaching staff stated they wanted playmakers and he definitely could become one despite the lack of desire to make a tackle.
The only one in our secondary who could become a playmaker is Lewis. Everyone else is your typical “safe” guy, not too flashy but will do things the right way. Except Awuzie boy did he have a terrible year.
