Did anyone get the impression in watching yesterday’s contest that there were some issues with footing throughout the game that were more than the norm? Zeke had a couple of stumbles on sudden cuts (short yardage) and Tavon lost his footing for a split second that cost him “another” house call on the second return (although based on his subsequent absence I feared he may have aggravated something).
Even on the Hurns play (hard to rewatch) it appeared he had a footing issue as he turned upfield that may have contributed to the awkward angle and thus devistating injury (tackling technique notwithstanding).
Specifically, I saw a TON of that black fake “dirt” spewing up in the air time after time and wondered if they applied it too densely to cause those missteps? Did any of y’all have a similar observation?
