Stanford/Oregon and Kansas State/Baylor

The Big 12 is pure parity, anyone can beat anyone, most interesting conference in college football.

Parity isn't the "top" team getting beat by 24+ points by a team with a losing conference record. Kansas State was way overrated and tonight showed why they were picked to be near the bottom of the conference.

You serious Clark? Baylor is a lot better than their 5-5 record and owner of the top offense in the land, Kansas State has had their way with teams that have beat Baylor, and averaged giving up only 18 points a game in an offensively explosive conference. Seems that pretty much proves parity.

I do know that...

I just think that USC will win...

I hate USC... and I hope they lose...

Oh trust me, I hate USC as well.

Clueless... Great big stupid reach.

And in other news the Dallas Cowboys are underachieving in a weak conference.

Georgia didn't play Alabama, LSU, a&m or Miss state. That's some interesting scheduling. They played two good teams, squeaked by Florida and got drove by South Carolina. Alabama is going back to the BCS Championship game.

Georgia got 'quietly' better each week after the SC debacle. Don't be too sure about 'Bama being the rep from the SEC. Stars are aligning for Georgia.

I think Georgia has a darn decent chance. This year's Alabama squad isn't quite as talented as in previous years, so I think they're a bit more beatable.

unless Bama has to play LSU the week before, Saban won't lose to Georgia.

IMO,the toughest coaching job of Mark Richt's career will be for the Ga. Tech game this coming week. If he can keep his team focused on just this one game coming up, he'll have them ready for Bama the following week. Why do I say this game next week will be the toughest for him? We all know what trap games are, and combine that with a team that is short on discipline, as are most of Richt's teams, you have the recipe for FAIL!!
If they get by Tech (and Bama by Auburn...don't laugh), then I wouldn't be surprised to see the 'Dogs come out in their black jerseys for the SEC championship game.

Man, K State got dissed big time by the polls, 1 to 6 or 7 depending on the poll, that's quite serious drop...too far in my opinion, they should still be top 5.

Oregon also disrespected in my opinion, they should still be 2, losing one game to good opponent in overtime trumps losing one game in regulation as Alabama did.

Love it. Go Notre Dame!

Love to see ND win the National Championship. As of last year some critics said the days of ND being a big time winning program were over. :lmao:

They still have SC to deal with. If SC has a QB, that's not going to be easy.

Great thing about both ND and Stanford being really good and contenders is that is shows you can emphasize academics and still compete with the best.
