In todays game when you ask for the type of money Dak is you don’t get to complain about the surrounding cast because that is the trade off.

Dallas has done a fantastic job surrounding Dak with talent. Problem is he doesn’t elevate talent. Talent elevates him.

I can say that about every QB not named Pat Mahomes..so if your saying every QB is overpaid accept Pat then I would point you towards the nearest "Suppply and Demand" book that explains how a market works.

Dak played like crap for periods of the game and whiffed completely on a few golden opportunities to get the ONE score that would have changed the outcome, just as you would expect a rookie to do in a pressure cooker. The final possession of the Cowboys was completely mishandled because of Dak the rookie. Instead of running a play after the big gainer, they had to call a timeout which lead to the three plays and a FG leaving far more time on the clock then should have been left.

But here is the real point your lack of understanding causes you to completely miss.... That Packers defense was horrible. Absolutely horrible. They proved it the very next week against the "great"(lol) Matt Ryan.

With even average BUT CONSISTENT play from the QB that was an easy win.

Pretty much the same could be said about loss to the Rams.

Well you can say that but it doesn’t mean it’s true.

Even if it is true.. You don’t pay guys like Dak and forfeit winning championships. Just because the NFL has taken this moronic approach doesn’t mean it’s the right move.

Especially when year after year it’s true elite QBs and rookie contract QBs competing for titles while the Dak’s of the league sit at home.

Different eras and both guys fit well.

I don’t think Aikman is as great if he throws as much as Tony had to. Same with Tony, I don’t think he was as accurate and could do as what Troy did with precise accuracy and timing.

Dak is a good QB. But until he wins, he will be Danny White level which is still good.

You have Staubach and Aikman as 1-2, Tony at 3. White / Dak next tier

dak won rookie of the year over zeke. dak threw form 300 yards and 3 tds in the playoff loss to the packers.

romo was old, brittle, and mistake prone. It was as much about the future as it was about that year. Right move 100%. Romo had plenty of chances.

Unfortunately, that was Dak's best year, 2016. No tape on Dak when he started. Defenses adapted starting in 2017.

what about the slow start? they were down 21-3 very quickly, and behind at the half. I dont think they got going till late in 3rd.
Same thing in the last 2 SF playoff games, slow start fall behind, then catch up to make game interesting, then lose lol.

The game should have gone to OT, but jerry still had marinelli here and that cost him in that game.
