Pretty much where I'm at...I do think if Tony's body hadn't STB at the end he had a cerebral grasp of the game that may have taken him to the next level.

Agree. Romo's understanding of the game ramped up his whole career, but his body failed him at the end. There was a sweet spot towards the end that I would take over any of Dak's seasons. (But not Aikman's best, naturally.)

Romo is vastly overrated. Aikman would sling away in the modern offenses.

He did have a great situation but he would absolutely kill with his timing and accuracy in today's league. He was also the unquestioned leader and field general of that team. I give him the edge over Tony due to that.

He didn't throw touch balls well at all. Tony was a better pure passer when it came to all the different throws.

Without Emmitt, Troy would be maimed. He was pretty bad until Emmitt and the run game showed up.

Dak is not hitting the window where his experience level is very high and he still has physical ability to execute everything.

So he’s got 4-5 more years left to win a title.

Yeah I’d assume 3-4 years. This window starts now. Probably the closest he’s got in regards to talent. Tough the Rams got assembled. But still gotta do it on the field.

Well said Tony was a pure passer but Troy aikman was a quarterback.

Troy was a guy who knew how to implement a plan after he got punched in the mouth and make it work.

I think Troy on those early teams that Dak had would have gotten us a ring or two. I don't think he would have been great behind the lines that Romo had to deal with most of his career. The FO basically ignored the OL in Tony's early years because of his mobility.
