The player he used to be? That player got beat out by Tebow. I think Romo is in a steep decline, but Orton does not give the team a better chance of winning.

Yes, i realize (AGAIN) that it won't be a popular opinion, but (AGAIN) we can't be much more ineffective on offense than we are right now.

No...you are wrong if you think Orton would be better. The only thing he would be better at is being worse.

I hate myself for even having to respond to this silly stuff.

It's not a silly notion. Romo doesn't read defenses well and therefore directs the play poorly. And, besides penalties that show up that are not his fault, he doesn't get first downs. He relies on his passing and evasion skills to make plays. He is not getting the job done.

What does Garrett have to lose. He has already tarnished his career by working for Jerry. Garrett might as well make some radical decisions. Those decisions just might work. More of the same mediocrity means you are just collecting the check.

If you go back and look with an non jaded eye, you will see a marked increase in inconsistent play since Tony broke his collarbone. Anytime he throws deep he's (badly)off target at least 1 in 4 throws. Furthermore look how many time the ball actually hits the correct spot, maybe 1 out of 2-3 although many are catchable, they often leave the receiver hanging (behind) or miss either high or low. Then there are the throws he flat can't complete anymore, deep outs, fly's ect. no matter what your opinion of Tony, I think we can all agree it's time to draft a blue chipper and build around him, I'm tired of trying the cheap route.

Last night the Cowboys missed a chance to bench Romo late in the 3rd qtr because he wasn't getting it done. He would have had to sit on that rotten performance through the bye week. After the bye you start him again and that would maybe light a fire under his butt. Who knows, maybe it would send a message to other players that if our 100 million franchise QB can be benched, so could they.

We can't blame Romo for the Defense but he wasn't helping them at all.

George oh George..... I really cant tell if this thread is serious. Romo cant read defenses?
Statistically the best qb through 100 games. He didnt do that by not knowing how to read a defense.
I understand youre angry about the loss but you are attacking the only good thing left on this team...
We also should cut sean lee because obviously he cant tackle......
Youre too blind to even read this, probably, but wow George. WAKE UP!

Orton hahaha

So, Dallas has no running game, can hardly protect the QB as it is.

And, you would like them to put in a QB who can't outrun a soggy paper bag with a rock on it..

Really?

Got it... Oh lord.
