Couldn't be any worse, Romo has gone from a GOOD top 12 QB, to a top 20 QB this season, the guy is either injured, or he just doesn't have it any more.

The putrid play of the defense does not excuse the putrid play of the offense led by T. Romo.

..and actually, like we said earlier, Orton can play a form of defense for us by sustaining some drives and not forcing our defense to be on the field for so long every game.

I started a thread last night about yanking the quarterback and wondered why teams never do it. Last night, Romo should have been yanked toward the end of the third quarter. That doesn't mean that he shouldn't start the next week. It just means it wasn't there last night.

The big question going forward, I think, is what is the deal with Romo's happy feet?

I realize that's the popular opinion.. but i don't think i'm wrong.

10-24, 120 yards, 0-9 3rd downs.. can't do much worse, fellas.
If we are to bench Romo I want Tanney not Orton. Need to see if he has it or not, the problem isn't just Romo though the coaching staff is a big problem as well. Since Romo didn't want to run the ball he no longer calls plays like he was before.

The line for the most part held up but Romo is so intent on throwing to Witten that it's hurting the offense. Dez needs targets like Witten, Beasley and Harris as well. He holds the ball too long sometimes

There's no point in yanking him at the end of the 3rd quarter, unless you believe your going to send some sort of a message to a 35 year old veteran. Give Orton a week or two to start, see what happens, and if it doesn't help things, you go back to Romo and realize you need to fire the coach after the season.

Romo is at fault so is the coaching staff, the other players on the team, the GM. Not say Romo is not a problem is absurd, while he isn't alone to blame he also isn't a solution right now.

No...you are wrong if you think Orton would be better. The only thing he would be better at is being worse.

I hate myself for even having to respond to this silly stuff.

Its interesting that you think people calling to see Orton start for a week or two believe that everything is Romo's fault.

You don't have to respond to it.. you choose to.

..and i don't think i'm wrong. I don't see Orton doing any worse with this offense if he comes in to start for a week or two.

To each their own, though..

Statistically Romo is better. Romo can't convert third downs enough and keep the offense on the field. This season is doomed. Try Orton. I bet our team will do better; not great but better.

Lmao @ this post. Hey vince young is still available so get on the phone Jerry because its obvious that romo is holding us back. You people never stop being entertaining.

Im sorry, but you're silly if you're going to look at one preseason over his entire career and think because he struggled a bit he's not the player he used to be.

If that is what you're saying.. i honestly don't know because im having trouble translating your posts to English.

The player he used to be? That player got beat out by Tebow. I think Romo is in a steep decline, but Orton does not give the team a better chance of winning.
