This exactly. Newman was in man coverage with no help over the top, he was on his guy like glue. Had he had the time to look for the ball he could have made a play, but that ball was PERFECTLY thrown and caught.

Now if it continues to happen throughout the season, we have a problem, but honestly plays like that are going to happen, to see people hittin on Newman because of that is absurd.

Jenkins was playing outside technique with no help inside a few times and if Leftwich would have hit 1 or 2 of those plays that game might have been different. It seems like you have to tell Jenkins to just guard the man in front of him and don't worry about anything else because he looked lost.

Actually, the main problem is just like it was when Bill Parcells and Dave Campo was here, no Pass Rush.

If Wade Phillips fixes the Pass Rush, I think you see alot better play out of the Secondary.

I don't think Demarcus Ware was right after the supposed burner he suffered.

I actually liked the way Jenkins played.

You guys act like he was just terrible out there.

This is a guy who is just going to keep getting better and better the longer he is out there.

A lot of you cry about not getting many INT's. Well Jenkins is an extremely aggresive guy who is always looking for a pick.

Jenkins is the 1 guy in our secondary with consistent big play potential and he is going to get tested a lot.

He almost had 2 picks yesterday.

Let's see what Scandrick does first before we say he should be the starter over Jenkins for the whole year because Jenkins did a good job yesterday. People say he had that int giftwrapped. What happened the past few years when that type of pass was thrown? Pat Watkins or Henry drops it? Roy Williams goes for the hit? That was a good play and it wasn't "easy".

I posted almost the same thing yesterday, agree 100%

None of our secondary looked great, and some of that IMO was due to combination of weak pass rush and poor coverage calls, but Jenkins looked the better of the CB's IMO.

I actually know what the OP is saying and I agree to an extent.

Jenkins is NOT a shut-down talent (yet?) as most here would have you believe and is often out of position.

He hasn't really flashed 1st round ability much yet and I wanted Brandon Flowers in that draft (who has).
