Start Scandrick Please

Newman did the same thing a year ago against the Steelers, and that play turned the game around for the Steelers.

No need to panic, but it's not like yesterday was the first time.

i would take that over a coner who get treated like a rented mule......newman is consistent for the most part, might have 1 or 2 hic ups a game, but hey nobody is perfect

Mike Jenkins is out of place alot, I hope the coaches see this and start scandrick

Just for the record... This link means I like your thread. Go get em OScan.

The other rumor is that we will cut both Jenkins and Newman. This will allow Scandrick to man both corner spots simultaneously.

Funny.

I was told that Scandrick will be moved to QB and WR simultaneously so that he can throw the deep ball to himself.

I think it is obvious that Scandrick is the better corner. Our coaches are having a hard time admitting the lower draft pick is better.

Just like with Carpenter (who was actually chosen higher than Jenkins) right?

Yah he was picked on a lot Sunday...that's his opportunity to make plays I mean everyone knows that who evers opposite from Newman is gonna get picked on, but if teams have success like that it's deja vu from past years from mediocre corners, if Scandrick produces the same results we are gonna be in serious trouble....hope you guys are right.

I don't think it's that big of an issue.

1) Jenkins isn't as bad as some posters make him out to be.

2) Scandrick isn't as good as some poster make him out to be either.

They are both talented corners. Jenkins happens to be more aggressive which is why he is in the position he is in sometimes.

All corners get beat.

All.

they want everyone and everything to be perfect, if not they go insane

they might as well locate there nearest bridge, because it will be this way all season, nobody is perfect

Jenkins is afraid of contact and doesn't make up for it the way Sanders did.

Have we heard if Wade is sticking with his word of alternating corners each week?

I'm mad that we missed the chance to get Talib. Watching him as the opponent made me really want him, he played a great game. I know he was picked before Jenkins but I'm pretty sure we had Jenkins higher on our board regardless

Would you like Jenkins more if...

1) he got into a fight with a teammate at the rookie symposium

2) got into a fight and used his helmet as a weapon

or

3) beat up a cab driver while drunk which results in a arrest?

any one of the three or just some sort of combination?
