We may be ready to start running things around these parts again.

We beat Philly next Sunday night in what is sure to be a raucous crowd ...I think we just might do some serious harm the rest of the way.

There's much more of a early 90s feel than the 70s, having a rookie QB that's showing great promise along with a great rookie RB but we still have a long way to go. As far as players go that's pretty much where it started with the great 90s teams with the QB and RB. We've had the great OL for a couple of years, now we just have to see if some of the other pieces can start falling into place on defense in the next year or two. We're going to need a Charles Haley and few other additions to help solidify the defense but having the young QB and RB is huge going forward.

I don't think this is out year but it's looking more and more likely that we have a QB as well as no real needs on offense for the coming years which means we can devote all our resources on defense. We could be scary good for years to come the future looks really bright right now

A little but remember, there was no cap to deal with back then it was much easier to develop and keep players back then. As a matter of fact the cap came in mid 90's and the immediate erosion of talent began with guys like Norton and Jimmie Jones, etc.
