Hell yeah! Thanks for the invite bro. Let me grab my Walkman and some mix tapes I made and head over.
lolrotf!!!! Awesome! Cause I got plenty of honies over here with big hair and rockin' some acid wash jeans ready to bust a move!!!! If we roll to Bennigan's afterwards we might have to take my I-Roc Z28 cuz not sure we're all gonna be able to fit in that Fiero though. My Blaupunkt gonna seriously rock that mixed tape!

We may be ready to start running things around these parts again.

We beat Philly next Sunday night in what is sure to be a raucous crowd ...I think we just might do some serious harm the rest of the way.

This team has a certain unity going on right now.

Should I take out my Elephant Pants and Clod hoppers?

So we won't see these types of posts until then? I am sure by that time no one will remember to tell you. As we will be enjoying the season as we go week by week to getting there.

Who is not enjoying the season? Do you remember the 1992 season when we got blasted by the Eagles on MNF and the announcer (Dan Dierdorf, I think) basically said tap the brakes on the Cowboys--they may not be ready yet? Even after finishing that season 13-3--we still had to go to SF for the NFC Championship. Yes, that's right--we finished 13-3, equaling our best ever record and we still did not have a #1 seed and had to play 49ers on their ugly turf. Point is nobody could really know a dynasty was in the making until we won in SF and then put the Bills in their place. It wasn't until late in that Super Bowl that the announcer said: "The Cowboys are back on top AND THEY MIGHT STAY THERE AWHILE." yes, we are rolling right now, but we have a rookie QB and might still face teams like Minnesota, Seattle and Atlanta come playoff time. None of those teams strike fear in my heart, but having to play on their turf in the playoffs is not a guaranteed victory. I wasn't predicting destruction at the hands of the 49ers in 1992 either, but I also wasn't sure we were going to win and there was a real bad feeling when Rice caught that long TD pass in the first half. Thank god there was holding on that play.

Yes, I have had a similar feeling for a while with the OL and Zeke.
After the draft, felt like 1990/1991.
After seeing Dak and Zeke play, not sure if it is 1991 or 1992.

The salary cap is a problem though.
We have to sign a lot of players (or replacements next year) including 1 starting WR, 1-2 S, 1-2 starting CB, as well as a good DE.
Annoying parity in NFL.

Put me down for not thinking we have a looooooong way to go.

I'm not saying we can win multiple Superbowls with this roster but this years Super Bowl can most definetely happen. Especially if we get the 1 seed.

QB play and coaching are the only consistencies for today's NFL team.

#1 I still have some bleached jeans, wore them yesterday matter of factly.
#2 Bennigans had good chow
#3 3rd generation Camaros didn't have squat on 1st generation, or early 2nd generation Camaros.
Now if youll excuse me I have to get back to listening to my Poison cassette.

We still have a bit to go, a better pass rush would go a huge help. And we don't have any WR that is even close to Irvin.

Yes, there may be a pattern! :)

1970s: 5 super bowl appearances and 2 championships

--- 1980s: playoff success but no sb appearances

1990s: 3 super bowl appearances 3 championships

--- 2000s: meh, meh, ooh, ohh, wow, ouch = zilch, nada and NOTHING!

2010s: ooh, oh, meh, ouch....... ooooohhhh... whoaaaaaahhhh..... TBD!

All our championship teams featured a great back from Duane Thomas to Tony Dorsett to Emmitt Smith. The Cowboys have had their greatest success when they can run the ball. It's taken pressure off the QB and the defense by maintaining the ball. The playoff game we won in 09 was due to the running game. Felix Jones had over 140 yards and a long TD run vs Philly, it took a lot of pressure off Romo. Again in 2014 it was the running game that led to a solid season and a playoff win. This team could go a long way with as bright as our QB situation looks with Dak and with Zeke leading the charge at RB. We just have to add some solid parts to the defense especially along the DL. If Smith can fully recover he could be a huge addition to our defense.

Agreed 100%

I call it the Elway-way!

Man, the 90's could have been the greatest era in football.

Per my opinion... and more importantly.... Aikman, Irvin, moose and emmitt feel like they left a couple of Super Bowls on the table.

Four in a row.... maybe 5...... we'll never know.
